Ten Years Ago, October 10th

"Get out of here Kasumi!" A six-year-old Naruto shouted running with his twin sister. The two were running away from an angry mob, "I'll protect you Kasumi! I'll always be your shield! I won't let them hurt you!" Naruto shouted as the two continued running through the forest, "Where are those masked Shinobi that help Jiji-san?!"

"No! I'm not leaving you alone! We're twins and we only have each other left! If we're going, we're going to run away, we're running away together!" Kasumi screamed out as she looked at her twin brother with determination in her eye with a hint of worry.

Just then Naruto saw up ahead a ledge, and it only seemed to go straight down, "What do we do?!" Kasumi asked worried with her eyes scared. She had tears welling up in her eyes, she was scared for Naruto and herself.

Naruto saw how nervous his sister was, so he placed a hand on her shoulder, "Kasumi-chan you're my precious sister, I'd never let anything happen to you. I know you'd do the same, come on let's go." Naruto grabbed his sister's hand, "We'll get out of this...." Before Naruto could finish a kunai lodged itself into Naruto's throat as he spat out blood.

"NARUTO!" Kasumi's eyes widen which caused Naruto to stumbled back. He planted his foot on the ground to stop himself from falling over the cliff. However, the rock under Naruto gave. Kasumi tried to reach out to Naruto to catch him but couldn't move in time. Kasumi suddenly found a kunai lodged into her thigh not letting her move. Just then another one flew into her shoulder and then another into her other leg. Kasumi fell on her hands and knees not able to move.

"Where's your demon brother huh?" An angry chunin asked as he walked up, "I know I got his throat so... oh well I guess that works for us." The Chunin smirked as he saw where the cliff part that broke off.

Soon other villagers with torches, swords, knives, and other weapons came into Kasumi's view. Kasumi's eyes widen as her bottom lip quivered in fear, "Naruto-Nii! Kaa-san... Tou-san! ... I'll see you all soon..." Kasumi had tears run down her face. She didn't cry or flinch because she was in pain. She cried because they killed her brother.

At least that's what she thought.
