"How can I help you two gentleman? Y'all need job or something?". She questioned, placing her undivided attention towards the two black man standing before her. A smirk graced her red coated lips.

"No, we are here for Gem. He had a little altercation with one of your boys". Ken quickly replied. He had to quickly recover from his shocked state.

Guess the rumors were true.

"What's your relation to the nuisance?". She took in the man who seemed to know his reasons why he was there. His stance, confident in his scrubs and the way he spoke. He showed no fear and determination. Frustration and anger were displayed on his mugged up face.

Ken swallowed the lump in his throat, realizing that Russo was sizing him up. Her eyes slowly trailed from his head to his feet and back up again, making him feel uncomfortable. The look she gave him screamed danger. She looked as if she could pounce on him at any given moment.

"His my brother. Look, whatever damage he did his time. I will pay for it." He hurriedly mentioned, wanting to be out of there.

A quick but short chuckle escape her lips, "pay for it?" She taunted, with a coy smile on her face.

"Your brother as you call him, threatened my boys multiple times and they don't take threats lightly. Secondly, he has caused commotion between my community and I, disrupting the peace I had worked hard to maintain. He has disrespected me several times despite the warnings i have against him. He messed with my money with his shenanigans. So how are you going to pay all that, huh?". Her perfectly arched brow raised in question.

Ken and Chauncey shared a look before Ken placed his attention back to the lady in question. Ken subtlety licked his lips while taking her in. Corine was a attractive woman, one who seemed to have her all her shit together and he didn't want to waste her time, at all.

"Whatever you had in mind for making him pay, I will do it. Just let him go."

A sly smirk graced Cori's lips. "Whatever huh?". Corine couldn't keep her eyes off Ken. He was extremely attractive to her. He was her ideal type. Tall and slim, brown skinned. He had thick brows, upturned brown eyes and a slim, pointy nose that was made for his face and plump lips. She could see the tattoos that adorned his whole right arm.

Kenton swallowed the lump forming in the base of his throat as he really thought about his decision. He slowly nodded his head, knowing that he'd probably regret his decision down the line.

"Yes, whatever." He confirmed, firmly nodding his head. He was the type to go all put for his loved ones no matter what.

"Just you or the gentleman is in on it too?". She questioned, taking a glance at Chauncey who has been mute the whole time, listening to them talk. He wouldn't dare open his mouth as he was starstruck by her beauty and also fearful of her.

"Just me." He confirmed once more

"Well if he could give us a moment, alone. We have so much to talk about." Cori announced causing Chauncey and Kenton to share a look. Once Kenton reassured him that he could handle himself, Chance let himself outside giving them a moment alone.

"Ms Russo, I'm glad to have caught up with you." Lopez, the chief police officer in charge of their vicinity caught up with Corine outside her home. Body guards were patrolling and watching over every move.

"Lopez, how can I help you?". She flashed her pearly white teeth at the heavy set fair skinned man standing in front of her, neatly dressed up in his casual attire. His hands were shoved inside his pockets. Shiny black curls sat on top of his head.
