Quiet. She had always been "quiet," but the truth is that she wasn't. The definition of quiet means "making little or no noise." But she wasn't, quiet, mindless, nor did she not have feelings. She just didn't like talking to them. They would mock her and call her names. But what she hated most was their idiocracy. She had always held herself to such high standards, so she was often confused about why others didn't do the same. She hated them. Well except for him, it's silly because the previous years she had wished, everyday, every night, every birthday, Christmas, Thanksgiving, every wish she could've ever had that he would just leave her alone. But something had changed that year. What scared her is that she wasn't sure if he had changed... or her. The idea of her modifying her personality for a guy disgusted her, and even though she would never admit it, it also scared her. She tried to keep her mind from thinking about it by distracting herself with schoolwork, reading, and really anything she could.
She had known him most of her life, more than she wanted to. But he was her bestfriends brother. She and Leia have been friends since elementary school. They practically grew up together. And of course, she eventually went to Leia's house. For some reason, Leia had not mentioned in any of their millions of conversations that she had a twin brother. While they were twins, they could not be any more opposite. Leia was loving, kind, and funny, but she was often misunderstood by the kids at school. Maybe that's what she found appealing about her. Leia didn't care the least bit that she wasn't popular. Him, however, he was the average popular guy. All the boys wanted to be him, and all the girls just wanted him. He was selfish and rude, and she hated him since the first time they met that day. But had her feelings finally changed?
