Two demon brothers, Wendell and Wild, discovered the Staff of Pure Evil, so they avoided touching it until V.A. Vandevere finds out and holds the staff to use evil powers. Wendell and Wild teleported from the Staff of Pure Evil into the Hinterlands...
Deep in the woods were tall trees with different doors, Holiday World in the Hinterlands. The doors have all kinds of holidays, such as Valentine, Thanksgiving, St. Patrick, Easter, Independence, Christmas, and Halloween. Inside from the Halloween door, the leaves flew by the wind, and the pumpkin scarecrow with the town sign twirled that it pointed to a place called Halloween Town.
The citizens were real monsters and ghouls who lived in Halloween Town. They are preparing for the surprise Halloween town. The four vampires held the umbrellas to protect the sunlight, and the two witches brewed the potions in their cauldron. The werewolf is practicing his howl, and the clown spins around the circle with his unicycle.
The Mayor of Halloween Town hummed This is Halloween while accomplishing his planning for a surprise Halloween. Lock, Shock, and Barrel rode their bathtub, where they got their bag for trick or treat. The Pumpkin King, Jack Skellington, was thrilled about the next Halloween as he walked to the graveyard with his ghost dog, Zero.
Behind the hanging tree, a ragdoll, Sally was watching Jack and Zero walking to the graveyard. Sally held the basket for the picnic as she walked to meet him. The creator of Sally, Dr. Finkelstien, was not happy that his daughter wanted to be free. He wants to keep her safe and locked in her room.
At the graveyard, Jack and Zero waited until Sally arrived in time. Jack was glad that Sally got the bottle for him as a gift. Jack opened the bottle as the vapor raised and transformed into a heart shape before disappearing.

"Thank you for giving this gift, Sally," said Jack. "I have something to tell you for next Halloween." So Jack whispered in her ear. "Really?" said Sally with a smile. "Oh, Jack, that is wonderful." Jack and Sally walked to the Spiral Hill and looked at the full moon. "Isn't it beautiful, Sally?" asked Jack. "It is, Jack," Sally replied. Jack and Sally hugged each other while Zero watched them happily.
