The final class bell rang, marking the start of the weekend. I made my way down the stairs to the student parking lot. I usually meet Matt, Nick, Chris, and Kora out front, but they were a little late today. While I was waiting, someone approached me.
"Hey, um, I'm Elijah." He said sounding slightly nervous. Elijah. I've heard that name before, I swear but I can't quite put my finger on it. I had to admit, he's cute. Although normally I'm not into blondes, his floppy hair covered his auburn eyes just slightly.
"Hi? I'm Liv-"
"Liviona. I know." He cut me off.
"You know?" I asked.
"Yea, I usually go to the library during break period and I always see you there."
"Oh yea I think I may have seen you there before. What did you need?"
"I was just wondering if maybe I could get your number?" No one has ever asked me that before. I'm unsure of how to respond. Do I want something romantically right now? I ponder for a second before replying.
"Yea, why not?" And I put my number into his phone.
"thanks, I'll call you later."
"Okay, talk to you later Elijah."
"You can call me Eli." He smiled.
"Oh, okay. Talk to you later then, Eli." He gave a nod and walked away. I don't even know what I am feeling right now.
"Who was that?" Kora asked with the triplets behind her.
"Some guy. Said his name is 'Elijah'." Nick and Chris gave each other a suspicious look. And I could've sworn I saw Matt's jaw clench slightly, but I couldn't tell you the reason.
"What did he want?" Nick asked.
"You guys are gonna make fun of me."
"Okay now I can't wait to hear this." Matt said.
"Now I'm definitely not telling you." I said quickly after Matt's reaction. The rest of the group groaned at Matt.
"No no no no, I'm sorry, okay? Please tell us what he wanted." Matt remedied his mistake. I let out a sigh.
"He just wanted my number, it's not a big deal."
"WHAT!" Kora yelled.
"what." Matt grumbled.
"HUHH??" Nick interjected.
"Ur joking." Said Chris.
"Well, did you give it to him,? Do you like him? C'mon we need details." Nick snapped.
"You guys need to chill." I said. They all looked at me expectantly waiting for an answer.
"Fine. Yes, I gave him my number. Is he cute? A little. Do I like him? I don't know, I haven't spoken to the guy until today. Now that we have details, can we please move on?"
"I guess so." Kora muttered.
"Okay great! Now let's go home please." I lead the group to my car and dropped them all home.
I went inside and set my bag down, flopping onto the couch. I got up to get water when my phone unexpectantly dinged. The notification was from none other than Eli.
Did I really just say yes to a date with a guy I met less than an hour ago? yes. Yes I did. Am I looking forward to it? Not particularly. Fun fact about me: I don't like dinner dates. Walks, picnics, movies, all great but dinner is a no go. It's always awkward. ESPECIALLY on a first date. So I am nervous to see where he's taking me.

Patience is key ;) Also don't expect the writing of Eli's and Liv's date to be spectacular, I don't care to much for writing about dates that don't involve the Sturniolo's.
