chapter 12: Hopeful wishing

(Kyle's POV)
It's been one month and I haven't seen April since she went to the lab. I'm worried, what if the killer got to her already... No I have to have hope, April is a lot smarter than she looks.... she'll be ok.

Hannah has been visiting us more often to have chats with Wendy and Heidi. That's suspicious but the two other doesn't think so so I'll keep it to myself. Stan and Craig was the ones leading the investigation because marjorine was feeling ill. I agreed to go with Heidi, Hannah, Kenny and Tweek in exploring the rest of the school because, according to Tolkien, we weren't able to explore the rest of the school on the first day. And we only went in random classrooms when the killer decided to start killing.

Hours passed as we walked across the hallway at the side of the main entrance of the school. Marjorine suspected that it was the killer's base and did not recommend investigating it without her. But we were a little mischievous and went anyway. That part of the school was abandoned and messy and tweek tripped a few times while we were there but we caught him on the right times. Hannah was always the wild card of the group since day 1 (they all met in 4th grade) and this whole thing was her idea.

We came across a door that was brigaded with wooden planks that were hammered firmly into the door. Then Hannah tapped my shoulder and pointed at a vent just above the right side of the door. I guess she wants me to give her a lift. So I managed to get her on my shoulders and lift her up so she could reach the vent. She opened it and crawled inside. After a while, the door burst open and Hannah was holding a pistol that she found inside. My guess was that she blew up the lock.

We went inside and we were shocked on what was inside. There were ventilation tunnels everywhere, a lot of computer monitors, and a bunch of wiring;  The killer's base... They literally have access to the entire school and could pop up from one ventilation shafts to another, killing without getting caught ( among us reference lol) . Impressive... I gotta credit the killer for picking the most valuable room for them.

Just then, we heard a sharp scream, from Heidi.... Her eyes were widened and her stomach was shot. She timidly pointed at the killer who was wearing the same black cloak that was drenched in dark red blood stains. We had no time to waste. I picked up Heidi and we desperately ran across the long and messy hallway.

The killer's voice wasn't distorted but none of us recognized the voice. All the while they laughed uncontrollably while shooting their gun and waving it carelessly. Hannah tripped and hurt her leg really bad... she fell and it was stabbed by a large shard of glass. We all stopped to help her. "G-guys..." The groaned weakly "Go on without me!" Kenny asked "but what about you?" She shouted back "Go!!! Save yourself!!! You don't need me anyway... Just defeat this killer... avenge all of us!!" We nodded and ran without her... We finally reached the end of the hallway and closed the large door behind us. We could still hear Hannah's painful last screams and then.... silence... Hannah was dead.

I sighed and walked away with the others... I had no idea what to do anymore, all of us knew this was a bad idea, this is all our fault. Marjorine has every right to yell at us when we get back...

(Marjorine's POV)
I was comforting my brother when I heard the front open, the rest must be back... I got up to greet them. I hope the killer didn't get to them on their way here...

I opened the door and what I saw was so uncalled for. Heidi, tweek and Kyle... slightly covered in blood and bruised. "Oh my gosh!" I gasped... Are you three ok? You didn't bump into the killer did you?! Where's Hannah-" I looked at their faces and I knew what they were about to say wasn't good. "Hannah is.....Dead"

I stared at them... Did they- no there is no way! "Did you guys..... Go there without me..." Heidi covered her face, she looked remorseful  "I know we're so sorry marj!" She cried as she dropped to her knees... Everything was happening faster then I thought "I..." I was speechless "I don't know what to say to all of you...I..." I sighed... This was Hannah's idea, wasn't it... "Kyle..." I said, turning to him... "Marsh wants to have a quick word with you... Meet him and Testaburger at the gym..." They could tell I was upset I'm sure....I don't usually call everyone by their last name.

I told everyone to get out.... This is gonna take some hopeful wishing...

(???'s POV)
Dammit... Why does everything have to go their way?! They already fooled them enough! Isn't it finally time to show themselves. I couldn't resist behind the restraints. It was hopeless, but why didn't that god damn killer  kill me yet. Is she planning to use me as bait?! Shit! Why am I asking so many questions?! It's not like it's gonna be answered!

I had to stay silent... Stan, Wendy and kyle are smart and so are the others... I put my trust in them that they'll make this work out.

The killer walked in. All I could do was glare at her... "What the heck do you want (killer's name)" She grinned annoyingly. "Well duh, I'm getting new weapons since my old one broke idiot" I could've kept my mouth shut after that, but I couldn't help but ask "Why aren't you killing me yet? ... It's been a month and I have been preparing for the worst....Yet I'm still here, alive!" She rolled her eyes... "Since Bebe is on an errand, I'll tell you" she leaned forward. "I'm planning to use you to bring everyone here... This has gone long enough so I'll kill them all at once, after that, I'll kill you last... It's my pleasure" so she was using me as bait.... That's the dumbest way to die in a situation like this... Heck! Clyde died better than me! If I'm dying, let me die in style, jeez. I sound crazy, don't I?.... Kyle, Stan, Wendy, everyone... Please hang in there...
