It's been two months after Stefan left with Klaus.. Damon has been acting like nothing happened which bothered me and made me drift apart from him. I mean, he's still with Andie and when I mean still with, I mean he's still using her as his "distraction". We are still looking for Stefan, which gives me an excuse to not have to interact with his brother. Anyways, enough of that.
Today is Elena's birthday which makes her 18 years old now! I'm happy because it's the first time that I'm here for her birthday.
I got her a gift and got ready for the party.

I finally find Elena and gave her a cup of beer and take a sip of my bourbon.
"Happy birthday Ellie!" I exclaim happily.
"Thank you Izzie." She says with a smile.
We go our separate ways and I enjoy my time there.
After the party I went to Elena's to give her her gift.
"Hey, Ellie." I say as i get inside her room by her window.
"Hey, Izzie" she says and hugs me. (She knows about my situation with Damon and doesn't push it.)
"I have a gift." I say happily to my friend.
"But-" she starts but i interrupt her.
"Elena, it's fine. I wanted to buy you something. It's not always that a girl turns 18." I say giggling and she does too.
"You know, your laugh is contagious and beautiful, Izzie." She says.
"Thank you, Ellie. But I'd hope that Damon saw that too." I sigh sadly. She gently rubs my arms indicating that it's going to be okay.
I shake my head and apologise. "Sorry. Today's all about you. Anyways, here's your present." I say handing her present. She looks at it and then squeals.
