it was friday but it's a special friday... today is prom! you didn't have school today but you literally couldn't sleep because you were so excited for some reason. you got out of bed at around 10pm to eat some breakfast. your mom left while you were eating so you spent the rest of the time alone, all by yourself. at around 3pm you slowly started getting ready while face timing with your friend. after a VERY long time you were done with your soft make-up and beautiful styled hair so you hang up to get dressed.
with a smile on your face you open, you open your closet.
the dress... where is the dress...?
you found it and close the closet again. you slowly put the dress on so that you won't ruin your make-up or hair. you gently fix the dress on your body and then look over to the mirror and to be honest, you are shocked.
it actually looks amazing on you. you're completly in love with the dress...
i wonder what rin is going to think-- wait! no! i don't care what that emo thinks... but i wonder what he is going to wear.. he'll probably look amazing though... i need to shut up.
you sigh and start packing your small purse with all the things you'll need. it's 4:30 pm, which means that rin will be at the schools gate in about 10 minutes. you put on your heels and immediately leave the house.
after almost 10 minutes later you arrived and the emerald haired boy was already standing there, waiting for you. you smile and wave at him, so he waves back aswell.
"took you a while, hm?"
"yeah, yeah sorry"
"nice dress" he mumbles quietly but you couldn't understand him
"what did you say?" you ask with a confused face
"your dress looks nice... i guess" he repeats a bit louder.
"oh thanks! you look good too"
"you think so?" he looks at you
"yeah i guess.."
"thanks... wanna go inside now, y/n?"
you nod in response and the both of you start walking into the school. it wasn't that full right now but most people should arive soon. there was an awkward silence while the both of you are walking. you tried coming up with a topic but well... that really didn't work.
as soon as you got inside you greeted some of your friends and rin greeted his friends. you were just standing next to the teal eyed boy while he was talking to his friends.
the lights around the school are colorfull, balloons everywhere, loud music is blasting through the whole school and many people are talking or singing to the songs. you look around the hallway of the school and the first thing you see is a photo booth, your eyes light up.
"rin!"
"what?!"
you pull him to the photo booth by his sleeve.
"the fuck are you doing, idiot!?"
"come on! there is a photo booth"
"oh nah! i hate taking pictu--"
"don't care!" you say and pull him inside. there were excatly two seats which was perfect. on the floor there was a big box with hats, glasses and so much more stuff. you take two hats for rin and for you of course too.
you click on the button and a countdown could be heard. you do a pose and smile but rin looks completely emotionless.
"come on! smile a bit!"
