The heavy footsteps muffled by the snow created an almost calming noise for the American. Him and Russia were just coming home from gathering a tree. This was gonna be Russia, Mexico, and Germany's first Christmas in 5 years so America wanted to make it special. He planned on having a big bon fire at around midnight and was pondering all the activities they could do. Oblivious to this, Russia was content spending his 'first' Christmas with his lovers.
America's pov
I had SO many ideas! We could roast marshmallows, sing charols, have snowball fights, and so much more! The amount of excitement I have right now can't be put in words. Russia made a grunt noise and I began to pet his fur. I'm currently on his back so I'm probably a little heavy since he's also carrying the tree in his mouth.
When we finally got home, I hopped off Russia back and ran to go get Mexico and Germany. I found Germany in the kitchen making Lebkuchen. I left him to cook and looked around for Mexico. I found him in the back yard starting a fire. Perfect!
A: Hey Mex!
M: oh hey 'meri! Back already?
A: yup! Can you help Russia put up the tree while I help Germany with food?
M: sure thing!
And Mexico walked off to help Russia and America followed suit but stopped at the kitchen with Germany. He had his back turned to the American so America wrapped his arms around Germany's waist and nuzzles into his back.
G: hehe, hallo ame
A: hiiii~
G: vhat you up too?
A: I came to help you cook!
G: ...dear, I'm sorry but, you can't cook to save your life-
A: that's why I said I came to HELP you, not cook FOR you!
G: fine, fine.
And so everyone had a task. America and Germany on food, and Mexico and Russia on the tree and fire. After around 2 hours everything was done. The 4 of them sat around the fire enjoying food huddled up. Russia was in his beast form with the others laying on his fur. America sighed.
A: guys I have a question
M: yes?
A: would you like to finally meet the other hybrids?
Others: other hybrids?!
A: yea Poland, Ukraine, and NATO
R: wow, NATO? That's someone I didn't expect.
A: heh yea I was shocked too when I found out.
G: when can we meet them?
A: probably on new years.
G: Kay
As the hours passed by the squad had fun doing different things like playing in the snow, which Russia ended up burying America on accident, roasting some marshmallows, Mexico and Germany burnt there's to the point they were black and still ate them which made America cringe, etc etc. So the night was fun! At the end, after the fire had burnt out they used each other for warmth as they watched the northern lights.
