AELLA 👅
"What the fuck do you mean!" In the next room, my brother yelled. He was shouting since this was the fourth time he had seen me vomit. I wasn't going to tell him anything because I knew he'd be angry, but when he stepped in, I had forgotten about the test on my dressing table.
Getting up from the chilly ground, washing my face, and entering my room with my brother. He was clearly upset, and who wouldn't be? He is my brother, and he has every right to be furious.
"How could you get yourself knocked up?" He asked. The question alone made me flinch because he was right. I should of protected myself when I was having sex with Nat. Gosh I miss him.
"What is it love?" My sibling enquired. Yes, it is true that I was silent. Yes, I genuinely do adore him. I always believed that I would never find someone to love me through my brutal existence, but something changed in me when I met him.
When I did not respond, he came flying at me, snatching both of my hands and holding them to my sides. "You can not me fucking serious." I locked my gaze on him, and he sensed my seriousness.
"I am going to fucking kill him." Gritting his teeth and blotting the perspiration from his face, he said. It wasn't my brother who made jokes about me. When I was dating Nat, he didn't even say anything. I was aware that he intended to blame me, and that I ought to have guarded myself during our sexual encounter, but the happiness I was experiencing made me feel as though I was in an other universe.
"You would do nothing like that." My brother was about to lose his temper when my mother's voice cut him off, forcing us to turn to face the door and see them both go in. Have they heard everything?
Of course, they were aware of everything. And I know they are aware of all that is going on right now.
"My sweet princess." My father replied, grinning as he approached me. "You are no longer a princess but a Queen, for the child in your womb would be a prince or a princess."
My father has always had faith in me in all of my endeavors. He was aware that I am the type of person who can deal with any situation. However...
"I let you down." I sobbed because it hurts to become pregnant in front of a man who bet on me. It aches to feel that in my chest. I was afraid for my life and the lives of the baby for the first time ever. My family comes running to me only by my behavior.
"No, you did not my daughter." My mother said.
"Stop crying baby sister." When he saw my tears, my brother's fury had long since subsided.
"You could never let us down." My father stated. My relatives escorted me to the chair, where I sat. Something they'd always do to soothe me down when I was a little girl. My brother left and returned with a glass of water.
"So what are we going to do about the King's child?" Ambrose inquired, bringing me a glass of water. Everyone glanced at me, but I had no replies. I doubt I'd be able to tell him. What would I say? Hello, I'm pregnant. My brother's question alone caused me to droop in my chair.
"Wait it out." My mother said.
"What do you mean?" I asked.
"Your mother is saying that; tell him and wait it out. Watch what happens, but don't rush anything. Give him some space." My father then added.
"That's a good Idea but she must not tell him until after the fashion show in Paris." Here comes my brother once more.
"Why not?" I asked.
"Because, everyone knows this is a big deal for the Apollo Twins." He responded by raising one eyebrow and folding his arms. He was correct. We expect a large number of people to attend that fashion show, which will commemorate the end of the fashion year.
"You're fucking insane because that's six months away." I respond. "My stomach would be bloated by then. How would I go about doing that?"
What bothers me is that when he made that remark, my folks were all silent.
"No, you won't" His statement made me frown. "Our parents knows just what to use to stop you from showing. How do you feel nobody knew when we were born."
"Mom, dad?" I had a look at them. They gave me a strange look. What are they hiding?
"You trust us?" My mother asked. Why the question? I nodded.
"Well, come to the doctor's with us tomorrow." My father added. You may have wondered why my parents finish each other's sentences; this is due to my mother's inability to articulate herself well. As a result, my father frequently completed her lines.
"I trust you guys." I stood up and hugged them. They were my world and I could never do anything without them.
"You better trust them because tomorrow you would see why we got our name." My brother said. Now I can not wait for tomorrow.
