Chapter 6

Aurora POV:

As soon as I was dressed and ready I popped into an alleyway beside Gringotts before walking inside, not before bowing to the guards.

I requested to be seen by Ragnok, who shows up a few minutes later and leads me back to his office.

"What can I do for you today My Lady?" Ragnok asks.

"I would like to gain guardianship over my god-brother Neville Longbottom by enacting the god-sibling bond." I say.

"You think he's being harmed?" Ragnok questioned with worry dripping from his voice. That's one thing most the wizarding don't know that I hadn't until the summer before sixth year when a goblin had asked about my hand when I went and got money for school supplies, Goblins treasure children it doesn't matter what kind all children are precious treasures and goblins horrid treasure. The idea of a child being harmed would be something to worry about indeed.

Ragnok looks thoughtful before flicking his hand causing a large tomb to float from one of the shelves to infront of him. He opens it to one of the pages further in the back skimming through it looking for something. He must have found it because his face shifted form one showing extreme worry to one of triumph.

He looks at me smiling "Frank and Alice Longbottom Lord and Lady of the ancient and most noble house of Longbottom do here by state that in the case that we can't take care of him ourselves we do here by give guardianship of Neville Longbottom heir to the ancient and most noble house of Longbottom to James and Lily Potter of the noble house of Potter, and if they can't take care of him we do here by give guardianship to Augusta Longbottom his grand-mother". Ragnok read

"Now, as it clearly states he would first go to James and Lily Potter and then his grandmother. As the daughter of Lily and James Potter you are essentially 1/2 James Potter and 1/2 Lily Potter as such you can take over guardianship of one Neville Longbottom if you should desire to except guardianship say ' I say your name here by except guardianship of Neville Longbottom so mote it be." Ragnok informed me of the loophole he had found and I couldn't help but let a vindictive grin overtake my face.

"I Aurora Rose Potter here by except guardianship of Neville Longbottom so mote it be". I say clearly. A second later a blight light fills the room causing all present to close there eyes from the onslaught. When it recedes a tiny Neville Longbottom sat in it's spot. He was looking around with a slightly worried and nervous expression. I look him over and see he was slightly larger than I. He was holding a herbology textbook that I would fall asleep reading.

"Where am I ?" He questioned shakily.

"Your at Gringotts bank in my office" Radnok explains to the confused child

Neville nods slowly "Okay, why am I here? No how did I get here? I was just in the garden hiding from Gran and her unfaltering screams over how I should be more like my dad"

I grimace slightly having heard Augusta Longbottom's screeching through a howler during second year after Crabbe had sat on his father's wand breaking it. She had yelled for almost 20 minutes till McGonagall had put a silenco on it.

"Your here because I was just granted guardianship of you" I told him like it was an every day occurrence.

His brows drew together and his forehead wrinkled "Who are you?"

"I'm Aurora Potter, your new caretaker" I reply happily.

His brows shot up almost into his hairline "Your Aurora Potter" He said slowly. I nod "And your my new guardian" He continued I nod again. "I don't have to go back to the grandmothers" Neville checks. I shook my head telling him he would be living with me from now on. He nodded and lost the worried and confused expression he had on earlier.

"Now that Neville's guardianship has been taken care of. Is there anything else that Gringotts can help you with today?" Ragnok asked again. I shook my head that was it I think.

"Thank you for all your help Ragnok." I thank the goblin feeling gratitude to the elderly goblin for all he and the goblins had done for me today.

He smiled revealing small sharp teeth that I know could tear meat apart scissors to paper. "No problem Lady Potter".

Once outside of Gringotts I took Neville shopping for a new trunk, clothes, a new wand (Up top), and his new Familiar which turned out to be a mini Jackalope named Flora:

Once done with shopping I popped us back home and introduced Neville to Sirius and Remus before showing him his new room and letting him get settled.

I decided to give Neville a purge potion as well and soon he was feeling better afterwards he isn't as chubby as he was and looked more like an aristocrat as well. his hair grew a little longer enough so he could put it up in a small ponytail.

Soon I had a daily planner made up for Neville and myself. I would be teaching him all his magic and exercise routine so that he could be in fit shape for when we take Hogwarts by storm!

Sirius and Remus already knew about Neville so it was good that they wouldn't call the ministry on me for "kidnapping" a kid. Like pssh as if I'd kidnap Neville... Well technically I did- but within my legal rights!

Dinner was spent with Neville getting to know both Sirius and Remus I also introduced him to my familiars, Neville was scared and hesitant at first which was completely understandable.

Soon we all went to bed and were excited to start a new life full of love and care.
