Penelope P.O.V.

Junior: So, guys (and Penelope)! What do you wanna do today?

Cody and Joseph started arguing about something. I'm not sure what. I was too busy thinking about Sam. I know it's wrong. I mean, she's a girl, I'm a girl. And there was no way she felt the same about me. But...I couldn't stop thinking about her. Her luscious black hair. Her beautiful pink shirt. Her sexy, smoothy curves. Her-

snap, snap, snap.

Junior: Houston to Guy. Do you read?

I rolled my eyes and shoved him.

Penelope: Shut the hell up, Junior.

Oh, yeah. I still tell Junior to shut up but it doesn't sound nearly as bratty as it did when we were in fourth grade. I could tell he wanted answers but I wouldn't give him any.

Junior: Pen? You okay? You seem...edged, lately.

Penelope: 'M fine.

Junior: You sure?

Penelope: Yes.

Junior: Pos-

Penelope: YES!!! NOW LEAVE ME THE FUCK ALONE!!!!

I angrily grabbed my backpack and ran out. Tears stung my eyes.

Junior's P.O.V.

What the hell was that all about?

Junior: What's her problem?

Joseph: She's probably on her period.

Cody: No, guys.

We turned to Cody.

Cody: She's obviously stressed and Junior keeps egging her on.

Junior: Well, I just...wait, stressed? About what?

Cody rolled his eyes.

Cody: You are more dense than a rock.

Junior: What do you mean?

Cody: Guys! Penelope is in love!!

Penelope? In love? Yeah, and I'm not the hottest person on the face of the Earth.

Junior: Cody, Penelope's isn't in love. She doesn't do love. She says love is just a chemical in the brain.

Joseph: Besides, what boy would she be attracted to? Not Junior for sure. Me and her are more like siblings. You're gay and Jeffy is...Jeffy.

Cody: Guys, she's in love with the new kid.

Junior: Bully? What does she see in him?

Joseph: Yeah!

Cody: Not Bully.

Now I was confused. But slowly I smelled what Cody was stepping in. 

Junior: PENELOPE'S IN LOVE WITH SAMANTHA?!?!
