~ PROMISE ~

Kyoya explained to me that it wasn't what I thought it meant, hopefully it was true. I look out the window, "Oh, this is me." I state and grab my bag. He looks out at my home, well, my Grandpops mansion. "This is a nice home you have." He said before he tells the driver to stop in front of my home.

Kyoya held the door open for me to leave and I smile, "Thanks." I hop out the limousine. I was about to walk away before I stopped, "What are we?" I ask suddenly. "Are we friends or.. just someone to know." I explain what I meant and he thought for a moment. "I suppose we are friends, if you're comfortable with it, of course." I grin happily. It's been a while since I've had a friend.

"I'm happy with that." I smile at him, we went silent for a bit until I broke the awkwardness. "Make me a promise." I command, to which he was surprised from. The sudden question got him silent. "About what?" He asks softly as he stared at me. "That you'll be by my side." I respond, looking determined. "But make it more professional than what I said." I added and extended my pinky finger.

"Is that necessary?" He asked as he glanced at my finger, "It's quite childish-" I cut him off "Yes it's necessary! I have something called trust issues so, just do it." I pout. He sighed and wrapped his pinky around mine.

"I, Kyoya Ootori, will trust you, and honor you. I'll help you when you need help, I'll turn to you when you call me. I promise that I will never leave your side and that I choose you." Kyoya promised, his words nearly made me cry from how professional and sweet it was. I immediately pulled his pinky and hugged him tightly to hide my teary eyes from him. "Thank you.." I muttered. He was surprised from my sudden act but didn't resist, instead he hugged me back.

"You should get going.." I chuckle and pull away, "Oh! But before you leave, can I have your number?" I ask as I pull my phone out. He nodded, "My business number or personal number?" He asked and I looked up at him surprised, "Does it matter?" I ask as he nodded. "Personal number?" I reply still confused as he told me his number.

I wave to him as he got back into the limousine, I got inside the house after fumbling with my keys. "So? Who was that boy?~" My mom immediately asked, very interested. I was surprised from her sudden appearance, "Jeez! Mom!" I look at her shocked. "He looked very handsome! How is he? Is he nice to you? Do you have a crush on him? OR DOES HE HAVE A CRUSH ON YOU?" Mom asked me, being nosy on my personal life, "Calm down woman." I state after shaking her violently.

"He's my new friend and no we don't have feelings for each other. We literally just met today." I sigh as my mom was still so interested. "You have a new friend? Finally! We've been waiting for this moment! Invite him over sometime! We'll take pictures of you and your first friend!" My mom cheered and I chuckle at her. "Wheres dad?" I ask as I put my bag down.

"He's at work right now, I don't start work until next week." My mom informed me, not noticing I changed the subject. I nod "Alright, I'm gonna go do my homework." I smile and walk upstairs.

I groan and lean back in my chair, "Finally.. all done.." I mumble after finishing my homework. I glance at my phone and notice a new text message. I open it and read the following;

Unknown Number:
This is Kyoya Ootori

I had already forgotten I had his number, I quickly changed his contact name and continued the chat.

You:

After a nice small chat and changing most of my homework answers, I had set my phone aside and laid back. I look around the room again since I didn't explore much yesterday. I notice a see-through drawer with albums inside of it. I stand up and gently picked a random album out. "Lana Del Rey, Sirens." I read the cover. I look around and saw a radio. I pop the disc in and watched as it formed the letters of the first song, "Bad Disease". I kept listening to the song as I laid on my bed. It came near to the end when I heard the lyric;

"Will no one help me please? Not even you?"
