Red Velvet locks eyes with the thief, Y/N, and a mischievous smile formed on his face. "Oh, so you thought you could outwit me and wreak havoc in my domain? Who do you think you're dealing with?" He asked Y/N. A guard nearby said to Red Velvet, "She's just a troublemaker. We hoped you would handle her personally." Hearing this, Red Velvet chuckled softly, "Well...a troublemaker, huh? You certainly know how to stir up a commotion. Convince me, why should I spare you from justice?"
I hiss, annoyed at my capture. "So, the troublemaker cat has nothing to say?" A grin spreads across Red Velvet's face. "How pathetic. If you're not capable of justifying your actions, then perhaps you need a taste of my sweet justice to learn the error in your ways." Saying this, he requests his sword from his guard, and the sword is in his hands. The guards exit the room before the drama happens, and Red Velvet launched into an attack. He charged at Y/N, but Y/N got away in time. She took out her bag of runes and cast the rune Algiz (ᛉ) to defend. Red Velvet looks smug, because he expected Y/N to use that rune. In a matter of seconds, a second rune was cast, Hagalaz. (ᚺ) Instantly, plants of different species engulfed and immobilised Red Velvet, encasing him in a cocoon of plants. Caught off-guard, the Cakehound General struggled in the plant's firm grasp. "It seems that the troublemaker cat does have claws after all and is not all bark and no bite." Red Velvet chuckled, "Release me this once, and you shall be rewarded." Upon hearing the word "rewarded", Y/N's  ears perked up, seemingly interested. She called for the plants to back down and the plants obeyed. Red Velvet then produced a red ruby from his pocket, which had miraculously not fallen out during the fight. "This ruby was passed down from my long-gone father to me. It holds many memories and a part of me. If you accept this ruby, you are accepting a part of me." Y/N cocked her head, intrigued. She reached out for the ruby, and sniffed it. It smelled like Red Velvet. The General himself stood where he was, arms crossed, a smirk of amusement at Y/N's behaviour on his face.
