Chapter 1

The two bikes parked in front of the once high school of Howler pack. Taking off their helmets, Noah and Khai walked inside wearing their leather cut with name tags of Pres. Stitch and VP. Coal.

Members bowed to them in respect of their previous titles in the pack as Alpha and Gamma. Neither of them acknowledged the bows as they got closer to the memorial hall. They replay the same memory of the after-part night in their mind.

The memory of their best friend's heart being pulled out and her naked body hanging in the air. The murderer's name curved on her torso, Sebby.

As they enter the hall, the whole floor is filled with white flowers except for the path that leads to the stage where the late Luna Anna's photo is hanging along with the late Epsilon Susan's photo. Pack members lit the candles for the two souls while a few sat on the benchers mourning the death of the late Luna Anna and the late Epsilon Susan.

Walking towards the stage, Noah and Khai paused midway and looked up to see the ropes from that night still there. The consistent reminder of how the late Luna Anna and the late Epsilon Susan were found.

Then they walked to the stage in front of the late Luna Anna's photo. A member walks to Noah and Khai handing out a white forest-scented candle and quietly leaves.

Khai pulls out his lighter and lights the candle while Noah pulls out a photo of their group taken five years ago.

Noah placed the photo of the late Luna Anna, Gamma Chloe, Alice, Khai and him taken during their first hangout. He placed in front of the late Luna Anna's photo and muttered,

" We still miss you, Luna Anna,"

As Khai placed the candle, he muttered,

" I regret not joining for a run when you invited me... I couldn't introduce your wolf, Adolfa to mine,"

Then they chanted a prayer to wish peace and calm for the late Luna Anna in the hereafter.

As they turn, they notice the hall is getting crowded and walk out of the memorial hall of the murdered souls. Then they roamed around the once-high school they went to now the memorial of the late Luna Anna and the late Epsilon Susan.

The once-classrooms are now dedicated to each part of the late Luna Anna and the late Epsilon Susan's lives.

Noah and Khai entered a room dedicated to the late Luna Anna's achievements during her schooling. Khai patted Noah's shoulder and pointed to a glass container that had a model of a building.

" You remember the group project?" Khai questions remembering the memory behind the model.

" Of course, Anna wanted to build our pack water system but we convinced her to make the replicate of the lost building of the royal pack," Noah narrated with a sad smile.

" This room is filled with projects of ours," Khai commented looking around.

" She always wanted our help in solo assignments as well," Noah mumbled looking at a heart drawing that he did for his late best friend.

" I can't stay here any longer," Khai let out a whine as he tried to control himself not to cry.

" Let's go to check the friendship of the late Luna Anna room," Noah announced walking out with Khai.

" It's..Our old math classroom," Khai pointed at the map on the wall.

Noah and Khai entered the room dedicated to the late Luna Anna's friendship. They were pulled back seeing pictures of them and their old group on the wall.

" When was this taken?" Noah questioned looking at a photo young kid, Noah standing in the middle of two children, the late Luna Anna and Alpha Aston.

" Isn't this where you fight with Aston for the first time?" Khai asked chuckling.

" Yeah," Noah answered and then looked at the TV screen playing short videos of their time in high school.

" Aston really made sure no one forgets Anna," Noah commented.

" That's true... Late Epsilon Susan's memorial rooms don't have much details or... given any thoughts," Khai said as they roam around the room.

" It's because people still blame her past actions for... Everything, " Noah snorted and paused to look at a group selfie which was taken when Gamma Chloe and he announced their relationship to the friends group.

He looked at his smiling photo hugging his then-girlfriend Chloe from behind. He recalls this memory where he didn't care about his future and was unaware of his family's secret and his status in the Howler Pack.

" This was the last day when my nose wasn't crooked," Khai joked mourning looking at his face in the photo and Noah to smile.

" I'll never forget Alice punching you," Noah said looking at his friend's crooked nose.

" Wait... They are...," A whisper from behind was heard by Khai who gestured to Noah making him attentive.

" Yeah... I wonder how their life turns out? Like late Luna and Alice's or Gamma Chloe's," Another voice whispered making Noah and Khai look at each other in confusion.

Noah and Khai went out of the room and walked towards the exit. Noah talked once he noticed no one was around them.

" Did you speak to Alice or Chloe recently?" Noah asked getting worried.

" It's been days since I talked to either of them," Khai answered and announced.

" We should visit Alice on our way to pack,"

" Cool," Noah responded as they started the engine of their bikes. Driving to Alice's mansion which was gifted by her Dad after finding her mate, Brad.

Parking their bikes in front of the mansion, Alice was notified by her servants about her friends' arrival.

Looking at her face in a nearby mirror, the bruises are healing slowly. Her hand moved to take the concealer but paused.

" They will help me," She muttered before walking to the entrance where Noah and Khai waiting for her.

Alice comes in front of Noah and Khai showing them the bruises on her face without saying a word. Noah and Khai clenched their jaws first then they asked questions.
