3 MONTHS LATER
(Huge time skip!)

"Alya, I don't see the point in all this..."

Marinette rolled her eyes as Alya tossed another dress onto her shoulder. "I mean, it's not like I'll be going anywhere to be able to wear these." She groaned, annoyed at the amount of dresses on her shoulder. It was weighting her down and she didn't like the feeling of it.

"It doesn't matter, what if a guy asks you out-"

"No one is going to ask me out. Who will even bother? The minute they find out that i was pregnant and i lost it, and almost died they're going to want to dip." Marinette said.

"I'm sure you'll find someone. There's plenty of fish in the sea, and one fish will certainly be interested in you. Who knows maybe he'll be your lover till the end." Alya teased around, laughing along with the bluenette.

They paid for the dresses, and looked around for some more outfit choices. They stopped at a mini stand that were selling milkshakes for a refresher, before continuing on there fashion hunt.

They were walking back to the car until Alya remembered she forgot her keys at the table they were sitting at. "I'll be back, give me a minute!!" She yelled back at her best friend before speed walking back into the mall.

She rocked her feet back and forth resting her arms on the boot of the car. She looked over to her left and saw a man struggling to open the boot of the car. His hair was mid lenght, rough and dirty blonde. He had a beard growing on him and he was dressed in some ragged clothing. She felt bad for him and watched his actions.

As he opened the boot of the car, he dropped a bag that was filled with cans of beer. Marinette knelt over to help him.

"No, its okay i got it..." He mumbled.

"No it's fine. Here-" She gasped when she made eye contact with him. "A-Adrien!?" She whispered shakily. She looked back between the alcohol and him. He was drinking his life away.

He gently took the can from her and that's when she noticed the scars on his wrist. He looked away feeling guilty. "Uhm, H-How are you?"

"I'm g-great. I was just out. With Alya." She said.

"Oh, that's good. I'm happy to hear your doing better." He looked up into her eyes.

It was awkward. They maintained that contact for a minute before she broke the silence.

"So, uhm... How have you been doing?" She asked him, glancing back down at the scars on his wrist. It broke her heart to see him like this.

"G-Good, i suppose." He pulled on his sleeve to hide his wrists from her. He hated the fact that he met her again in the state he was in. He look awful and not appealing to the eye. His eyes were bloodshot red and, he looked like a homeless person. "H-How's Alya and Nino? It's been a-a while y-you know?" He looked away feeling the embarrassment creeping in.

"They're both good. They're going to spain next week." She smiled weakly at him.

"G-Good..."

"Listen, Adrien, I'm sorry for what i said to you. I was just hurt, and-"

"You don't need to be sorry. It was my fault you lost the baby."

"But you lost the baby too! It was our baby Adrien, and i should have been more mature about the situation." She looked into his eyes searching for a hint of light. He lost the glow he had in his eyes and looked dead. She felt guilt. She shouldn't have pushed him away.
