Chapter 26

After spending some quality time with Advin Jasmine feels lighter up and happily trails off towards her room before going back to Advin's room, as he wants her close so does she?

As she makes her way inside of Advin's room only to find it empty so with a smile still attached to her face she seeks for her mate out.

Jasmine smiles as she finds him in the garden of the pack house where he is staring off in deep thought. She slowly walks behind him and closes his eyes.

"What the..." Advin gets startled but Jasmine just puts her hands on his eyes and lets him guess it is her

"Mom" Advin guesses as he slowly traces the hands that has his eyes covered when he doesn't hear any sound he starts to call a bunch of names

Jasmine narrows her eyes as she puts her hands away when he does not get it right in first few tries.

"Jasmine" he exclaims as she was the last person he thought would do that

"Yes, me, well, I am so unhappy that you did not know it was me at the first go. You couldn't even sense me coming or better yet my scent?" she pouts folding her arms around her

"Of course I knew it was you, I was just teasing you" Advin laughs it off as he tries to cheer her

"Really" she asks him not believing him at all

"Yes" he smiles as he clears his throat

"If you say so, but why are you standing here all alone?" she asks as she too stares straight trying to see what he is looking at

"Jasmine, will you always love me?" all of a sudden he asks her seriously making her frown

"Have I ever given you any reason to doubt it?" she asks him not understanding what he was up to

"No, never...so, will you still love me if I'm gone?" he adds nervously as he avoids looking her way

"What's going on?" instead Jasmine asks him trying to know more about these weird conversations they have been having

"Wait, are you leaving me again?" all of a sudden she worries about it

"Oh look, it's so dark already. I wonder why dad has not returned yet. We should go back inside is it not cold today?" he changes the topic before abruptly walking ahead

"Advin wait, what is going on? Why did you just ask that question?" she stops him holding him back and he gulps nervously

"Nothing to worry about, I was just...this all seems like a dream you know. After everything, I did to you...

You so easily forgave me and now look you are here standing in front of me, I just find all of this so surreal so, you know" he shrugs his shoulder in a carefree way hoping she would let it go

"I don't want to ruin what we can have by dwelling on the past Advin; I have wanted to be with you for so long that I won't let anything come between us now that we are together...

I know that this all may seem awkward or like it is not real. Trust me; even I cannot believe that we are together right now after everything that happened between us...

Nonetheless, I am trying; I want to try this between us. Being angry with you is not so much important as us being happy. I have no one left to turn to nor do I have a home to return too...

However, here your parents gave me the love of a mother and father that I had to miss and I do not want to risk that because of what went on between us nor do I want to loose you...

I lost you one too many times for me to loose you again, I may not hold a top position in your life but for me you are everything I ever wanted and need...
