69: Distraction

"Are you serious..!?!?" F/n whispered back.

Y/n nodded and that took a toll on f/n to groan with hands to his face, 'Why is youth so generous to these ladies..? To be doing it early in the morning is a whole other talent.'

"Anyway... Still hasn't accepted your love, right?" He changed the subject.

Y/n frowned, nodding, "Yeah.."

F/n smiled, "Don't worry, she actually told me a reason though."

Y/n perked up.

"What!?" She gasped, asking, "Well, what is it then??"

F/n shrugged her shoulders, "She told me she didn't understand what you meant so she thought you were asking for her loyalty to keep you safe."

"That's.." y/n grits her teeth, 'Such utter garbage!'

"That's a separate matter!" She said.

"I can't tell." F/n hummed, "I don't know what you two even do but all I know is that she needs a more solid proof that you're confessing since I think confessing in private will just confuse her more instead."

Y/n stilled for a moment, "So.. she's just confused..!"

F/n blinked, "Yes?"

"I should confess with her harem in the same room then!" Y/n gleamed.

F/n gulped, "N-No.."

"No, Lady y/n.. ah?? L-Lady y/n!" He panicked as he hurriedly tried to stop her.

Katarina rubbed her aching ear, 'I knew she'd be angry but not that angry....'

Maria helped her with the pain as everyone in the council office wondered why Anne would do such a thing all of a sudden.

"I'm just going to guess she caught you doing something very.. err.... Not something she'd want you doing." Keith guessed.

Katarina meekly smiled hearing that, 'I guess that's one way to explain it.... She did tell me so many times not to sleep with anybody in the academy but I can't help it since we're in a contract.'

Actually, sleeping together was not part of the contract at all, they just started doing it without a good reason other than to satisfy a curiosity.

'I've slept with a lot of women in brothels though so I don't think I should even be curious....' she thought but that's quite the tragedy with how she tried to just kill off some criminals, and that's something she still does often, yet end up rarely finding one with how busy she gets just sneaking into y/n's room to spend some time with her.

It's not part of the contract ever.

'Well, but I guess with how y/n's been in danger a couple of times it's gotten to the point that the contract had almost turned void if I hadn't gone to her or if she hadn't gone to me quick.' she sighed as Maria finished with her work.

She didn't need the healing but not getting it might be more suspicious instead.

"Thank you, Maria." She smiled.

But that smile immediately turned into confusion when somebody came bursting through the door, almost breaking the door down even with how loud it was pushed open like doors you'd see in a bar for cowboys.

"Lady y/n, please..!"

"Katarina!!"
