The clock had ticked past 2 a.m., and the office was silent, bathed in the glow of muted lights. Shubman, having completed his tasks, decided to call it a night. On his way out, he noticed a faint light emanating from Ishan's office. Curiosity getting the better of him, Shubman decided to check in.

To his surprise, Ishan was still there, lost in his work with a pair of AirPods in his ears. Shubman's initial surprise turned into a mix of annoyance and concern.

"Late-night grind, Ishan?" Shubman asked, a hint of annoyance in his voice. Ishan, pulling out his earphones, looked genuinely surprised to see Shubman standing there.

"Shubman? What brings you here?" Ishan asked, genuinely puzzled.

Shubman, a bit sarcastic, remarked, "It's past 2 a.m., Ishan. You should be home, not burning the midnight oil here."

Ishan, a bit taken aback, sassily replied, "Well, look who's talking. You're here too!"

Shubman, explaining his CEO duties, suggested, "I'm the boss; it's different. But you don't need to overwork yourself like this."

Ishan, accepting the point, agreed to leave. As they made their way to the parking lot, Ishan casually said goodbye, intending to head home.

However, Shubman had other plans. With a playful glint in his eyes, he proposed, "Why go home alone when I can give you a ride?"

Ishan declined, considering the late hour and the inconvenience for Shubman. Unfazed, Shubman picked up Ishan, placed him in the car, and fastened his seatbelt.

As they drove through the quiet streets, Ishan, unable to resist, teased Shubman, "This is a fancy car. I expected a CEO to drive something more... imposing."

Shubman smirked, "Imposing is overrated. Plus, this car has its charms."

Ishan raised an eyebrow, "Charms? You're full of surprises."

Shubman chuckled, "Well, what can I say? Unpredictability is my forte."

As they cruised through the night, the city lights painted a mesmerizing picture. Ishan, trying to be composed, continued the banter, "So, kidnapping me in the dead of night? Quite the plot twist, Shubman."

Shubman, playfully, responded, "Plot twists keep things interesting."

Ishan laughed, "Interesting is an understatement. This CEO by day, superhero by night routine is new."

Shubman grinned, "A hero's duty. Every secretary needs a late-night rescue."

Ishan rolled his eyes, "Rescue or abduction? I can't decide."

Shubman teased, "Abduction implies I'm taking you against your will. You could have protested."

Ishan retorted, "Protested against a CEO? That would have been a career-limiting move."

Their banter continued, creating a lighthearted atmosphere in the car. Amidst the late-night cityscape, Shubman and Ishan found a moment of unexpected joy, embracing the quirks of their midnight adventure.
