Little to late to realize

Out of the hospital

Once two was released from the hospital and returned home everybody was delighted to see him,but two had something on his mind.

Once two was in the comfort of his home his mind began to race.

In two's mind: why didn't I do something! I know four probably feels terrible, but having to be dragged away. Dear lord- that just felt painful to witness.

Suddenly there was a knock at the door, two got up to answer it and saw (the tool,not the word) was standing at the door with a gift basket for two. Two thanked saw and had a small conversation with them before closing the door and putting the gift basket on the counter in the kitchen. Then he realized.

Two would shout with panic and disbelief, "I FORGOT TO MAKE THE CAKE FOR THE COMPETITION!"

Once realizing this two immediately got out ingredients and began to make the cake. Two is normally calm when making cake and finds it relaxing , but the whole time he felt guilt for four. Until eventually he began to zone out, leaving the cake in the oven. After a while, two snaps back from deep thought and realizes the cake is now on fire in the oven, panicked he opens the oven and puts the fire out.

Two sighed and tried to clear his head. "I need to get my stuff together, that could've ended horribly." He said to himself.

Two threw away the burnt cake while opening the windows to get the smoke out. Two baked another cake seeming more focused this time. Once the cake was done he placed it on the counter to cool off. Two checked the time and realized he still had a while until he can start the next cake-at-stake. Since the hospital didn't allow him to host the show for a while he left it to X, he decided to walk over the X and hand him the cake so it can be done with, and he did just that, after delivering the cake, two felt exhausted and fell asleep on the couch,drifting off to sleep.
