As we drove back to hospital I kept relating things from Diane's kidnapping to mine. I wrote almost everything I found out about it in a small notebook that I ALWAYS had with me. The notebook was even with me when I was kidnapped, I didn't write down full sentences though. It was hard whilst slowly losing your mind. I wrote down words, like 'DARK' or 'NIGHTMARE', one time even 'CRASH'. I also wrote down 'he RETURN'. It was confusing, I kept trying to connect the dots. Like what would 'rushing WATER' even mean? I kept thinking of the small doodles I found in the notebook that looked like a basement.

My main problem was my mom. She could never know about my studying on the kidnappings. My mother would tell me it was "a part of my imagination". I loved her of course, but she could be a little clueless sometimes. But there was someone who knew about my studies. My aunt Aphrodite, she really does look like Aphrodite...I'm not even lying!

But that's besides the point.

I don't know what I'm going to do about this...my aunt doesn't even know what my studies are about! I just told her about my dreams about Diane, and that I'm studying HER kidnapping, not mine. I'm getting nervous...

THE NEXT DAY

When you're at school, AND trying to keep your studies a secret from everyone it would be hard. But since I'm like the talk of the STATE, it's even HARDER. This girl Opal kept walking up to me like 'YOU WERE THE GIRL WHO WAS KIDNAPPED!?'. I got sick of it and pulled her into the janitor's closet. My sudden deafness had pretty much gone away. I was only gonna be at school for the next week. The doctors were going to try to fix my deafness fully. "Ok, I don't know much yet but I'm studying my kidnapping. Don't tell ANYONE, Okay Opal," I said. She was okay....mostly..

But anyways... we exchanged numbers and we're gonna try to talk about it together.

Diane's paying me a visit in my dreams tonight...
