Veneer x fem reader: fraud

Floyd panted as he rolled away as fast as he could, panic and fear in his eyes. Anxiety rushed through him every second as he made it closer to the exit with Veneer sliding after him.

His escape was cut short when he bumped into someone's leg.
Looking up he saw a female mount Rageion with H/c hair, silver skin and E/c eyes. A gift was in her hands.

"Please help me!" Floyd panicked "Velvet and Veneer have kidnapped me and are stealing my talent! They're frauds! Please take me out of here!" He begged, sounding so desperate.

You looked at the poor little pop troll in shock and horror, processing everything he said.
Veneer would never....

Right?

"Ahhh! Y/n!" Veneer scrambled to his feet miraculously not slipping on the water while doing so, he ran over and scooped the diamond bottle up, a look of horror in his eyes.

"H-how nice to see you!" His smile was strained with panic, he glanced at the gift in your arms "did you bring that for me?-"

"You kidnapped a troll!?" You stared at him with complete betrayal. This wasn't the man you fell in love with...
The Veneer you knew was so sweet and kind, he'd always bring gifts, send lovely texts, give you hugs and kisses and told you he loved you every single day he was a sweetheart.
But you couldn't see him now. How could he?...

Veneer panicked, hurt by the betrayed look on your face "no no! He's just...sick! Yeah! And me and Vels are taking care of him!"

You glared at him, Veneer was a terrible liar.
"How could you do something so evil!" You yelled, Velvet came running up looking confused and annoyed.
Before she could say anything you continued "I can't believe you and Velvet would do something so cruel!"
Velvet rolled her eyes "ugh come on Y/n, it's just one troll! What's the big deal?"

"This troll has a life! He could have a family, he has dreams and goals and you're going to destroy him all for fame!? You could actually live with this!?"

Velvet scoffed and glared at you, snatching the diamond bottle off of her brother and storming back to the dressing room.
Now you and Veneer were alone.
Veneer just looked sad, giving you the classic sweet puppy eyes.
"Y/n, babe I-"

"It's over..." you growled coldly.
Panic flashed on his face "what!?"

"I can't be with someone who's happy to murder an innocent troll! And worse is that you could happily live with it!" You snapped shoving the gift you had for him in the trash; he had a shocked heartbroken look on his face.
You didn't want to stick around any longer because you would have broke; so you swiftly turned around and left.

Only when you were alone did you let the tears fall.

Timeskip

You happened to be in the area where Velvet and Veneer's big rage dome show was happening.
You watched with a scowl as the performance went on. Knowing the dark story behind it you could hardly enjoy it.

Then after the poor little pop troll came back to life, Veneer did something that shocked everyone.

"Listen up Mount rageions, we...are...Frauds!"

The crowd gasped in horror and disbelief.
"And we have literally been torturing little trolls!" He confessed further, horrifying the crowd even more.

You looked at him, he confessed, he felt remorse, you were so shocked, but also proud. He admitted to it instead of continuing to hide it, and you were proud of him.
Once you were able to talk to him again, you would ask him if you could start over and become a couple again. Because honestly, you missed him terribly, the past few days had been torture.

As Veneer was being led away by a police officer he caught a glimpse of you, and saw your loving smile. He felt the terrible weight in his chest disappear and be replaced with happiness.
Looking at your face he knew what you planned, and he couldn't be happier.
