Dear Summer Diary

1. The Preperation.

It was a Thursday morning at 3 o'clock, there was only 15 more minutes until the school holidays. Honestly I am super exited for summer break, going to the beach, eating ice cream every day and hanging out with friends, going shopping and going on massive road trips like in the movies.

Everyone is standing by the door and is waiting to go, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1, everyone rushes out to their lockers. And within 2 minutes the courtyard was empty. Everyone was ready for the best summer break ever. I certainly was.

Just so you know my name is Harper Miller and I am 13 years old, I am in 8th grade and I have just started my summer break. I love playing sports, I play basketball, soccer and I do gymnastics and cheerleading. I have blue eyes and blonde hair, my skin is sort of tanned and I am pretty tall. I have got 1 sister and 2 brothers.

This spring break was going to be the best one by far, I was invited to so many parties. Including Owen Carter, he was in my class and one of the most popular people in school; let's just say that I had a bit of a crush on Owen. But let's be real here. He is popular, im not. He is cool, I am not. He is good looking, and I'm not. So it would never work out. However I might have a chance, I was the only other girl that wasn't popular that he invited to the party. My other friends and my older sister Aubrey she Is 15 (one of the coolest people in our school) says that it is good. My sister and I are best friends we do everything together, we go shopping together, we go to the beach together. And honestly I couldn't ask for a better sister. My brothers and I are pretty close; our whole family are close, because my mum died 4 years ago from cancer of an unknown primary. So it has just been us 4 kids and my dad. But sadly he has to work a lot to help pay for us kids. So we are left on our own a lot. Our aunty came and helped out a lot and she has basically been raising us for the past 4 years. Anyway back to my brothers I have 2 (they are all older than me) Sam who is 18 and Will who is also 18 because they are twins. We all live in a family house together and we all have our own rooms.

Today is the first day of break; I went shopping with Aubrey to get some new clothes to wear to the party's and some new summer clothes to wear on normal days. I also got some new bathers. I got this one dress for Owens party. It was a short one with black and white stripes; it had a yellow belt and some other details. I also got some new shoes; I got a pair of runner and 2 pairs of thongs/sandals.

It is now the 4th day of the summer holidays and there is 2 days until Owens birthday. Today I am going to go to jump street which is a trampoline park. I am going with Sam and Will because Aubrey is at work. We had so much fun, I saw Abbey and Tash. They are in my class, so I went and jumped with them because Will and Sam were jumping with some of their friends. We had heaps of fun. When it was time to go home I found Will and Sam and we left.

Today I am having a spa day with Aubrey because the boys and dad are having a day together. We invited our Aunty around and had a girl's day; we also went to the beach because it was a really nice and hot day. We went to the spa and had our nails done we also had a pedicure and it was really nice.
