School. The most boring thing on earth for kids from 12-18. Rhodes sat at her desk, drawing on her test paper. She heard a pair of footsteps walking towards her, fast. "Hey, Rhodes, I have to ask you something." She set her pencil down, exhausted, with eye bags under her eyes, clearly visible. "What now?"
He seemed a bit surprised by her response. "I was going to ask...if you wanted to go to the carnival they have done the road?" She shook her head, grabbing her mechanical pencil back off the desk. "Did school just..pop..out of your mind?"
She made her hand into a fist and brought it up to her mouth, she started to fake cough. "Dumb- cough -ass cough" He saw how she tired to cover it up and he was not delighted, he crossed his arms.
"Cmon! You can't miss one day of school?! It's a carnival!" She looked around, "No, I can't. Take...Britney!" She pointed towards the back of the room at a brunette who was playing with her rings. "She loves carnivals! I'm sure she would want to go with you!"
"But I want to go with you!" He whined, like a little dog.
"Why?"
"Well...I don't know..just please."
"I have a boyfriend! No!"
"Wh-What? Who is he?" Bill expression changed from a normal look to an upset look; he he stiffened to the thought of her having a boyfriend.
"Andrew..? The one that's behind you?" Bill cocked his head around, looking at the brown-haired boy behind him.
"Hey Audrey! I missed you!" Bill was surprised to hear her actually name.
Andrew looked over at Bill. "Is he bothering you?"
Bill whispered, "n-no..", he was trying to stay quiet as he saw Andrew tower over him.
"Oh hey, no he isn't."
"Okay. I'll be sitting right here if you need anything, okay?"
She nodded, beaming, as she hugged her boyfriend. Bill rolled his eyes, in an annoyed way. He tugged him, harshly, by his t-shirt. Andrew turned to Bill, "Yes?"
"Hey Andrew, could I have a word with you?" His lips quivered a tad.
Bill glanced over at Audrey, before looking at Andrew. Andrew nodded in agreement, they then both stepped outside the
classroom.
"Yeah dude what's up?"
"I think you should break up with her.." Bill forced a smile at Andrew, trying to convince him.
"What? Why?"
"Because she's not right for you.."
"I don't even know you. No."
"I don't care. Just trust me on this, okay? Bros before hoes...right?" Bill tried to laugh at his own home, Andrew stayed serious but he slightly nodded.
"Okay I guess." He was still unsure, he knew that he "loved" her, but he didn't care too much about the relationship.
He walked back into the classroom with bill. He didn't want to do it, but he was a teenage boy. He would do anything for his "boys". Even if he met them 2 minutes before. He started to write on a piece of paper and then he gave it to Audrey.
Her eyes widened in surprise, almost tears. Bill watched from a distance as Audrey got up from her seat and she ran out of the classroom, hiding her face from everyone's view. She went to an empty classroom, the bathroom was closed off.
Bill noticed this and he got up from his desk, slowly, and followed her.
She was in the corner of the classroom, he saw his slide down the wall sobbing and crying her heart out. She didn't want any of this to happen, but it had to for a reason.
