It's been almost a week since Elias and Ophelia last contacted each other. Ophelia believed Elias had lost interest, while Elias thought the same. Despite meeting only twice, they both genuinely missed each other's presence, feeling as if the universe had somehow bound them together.

Tonight, Ophelia is currently planning a trip to Las Vegas to meet an old friend. Meanwhile, Elias is contemplating texting her to hang out tonight.

It is presently 6 PM according to Elias's clock. He summoned the courage he had been mustering for several hours and proceeded to text Ophelia.

Ring! A notification resonated on Ophelia's mobile device. She is currently engaged in packing for her flight scheduled for 11 PM tonight. She stood up and headed towards her phone, currently charging beside her work desk. Ophelia's heart raced upon seeing a text from Elias, the communication she had been eagerly anticipating for the past few days.

'A hangout?' Ophelia mumbled, giggling at the thought of how sweet it could be. She was about to accept his offer when she suddenly remembered her flight tonight. Ophelia sighed deeply and texted Elias a polite decline.

Upon receiving the text, Elias's heart ached from being rejected by the girl he loved. Yes, Elias had indeed fallen for Ophelia the second their eyes met during their heartfelt dance in the rain.

Ophelia then informed Elias about her scheduled flight for tonight. Initially upset, Elias eventually calmed down and endeavored to be understanding. He replied with a message conveying his understanding, and Ophelia inquired if he would be willing to reschedule the date for another day. After thoughtful consideration, Elias promptly agreed to reschedule the date. Taking it a step further, he generously offered to drive Ophelia to the airport, suggesting she avoid the expense of a taxi. Initially declining the offer, Ophelia eventually acquiesced after Elias skillfully persuaded her.

It's currently 9:45 PM, and Elias is now in front of Ophelia's door, his car neatly parked outside. Offering a helping hand, he adeptly loaded all her luggage into the back of his car, leaving her with only her sling bag to carry. They both entered the car, and Elias drove towards the airport. The distance between Ophelia's house and the airport is quite substantial, approximately 60 km, making driving at this hour the most practical choice.

During the journey, they engaged in conversation about their respective weeks, sharing laughs over each other's jokes. The enjoyment of each other's company was palpable, as if they were truly meant for one another. In an hour, they finally arrived at the airport. Elias helped Ophelia carry her luggage and placed it on a trolley. Ophelia thanked him with a kiss on his cheek. Elias paused for a moment, making Ophelia chuckle. She waved him goodbye, and Elias did the same, his face now a blushing mess.

Elias waited patiently at the departure gate, his eyes fixed on the electronic display indicating the status of Ophelia's flight. As the minutes ticked by, he found a comfortable spot in a nearby cafe, sipping on a cup of coffee to pass the time. The ambient sounds of the airport buzzed around him as he occasionally glanced at his watch, eagerly awaiting the moment Ophelia's plane would take off into the sky. As Ophelia's plane took off, Elias watched until it disappeared into the sky. Still feeling the warmth of her kiss on his cheek, he smiled, anticipating the adventures she would have during her trip.

Elias returned home with a mix of emotions lingering from the night before. Exhausted yet content, he sank into the familiarity of his own space and succumbed to a peaceful sleep.

The next day, with the dawn of a new morning, Elias woke up refreshed and ready for a day of catching up with friends. He exchanged messages with them, setting plans in motion for a gathering later in the day. As he got ready, thoughts of Ophelia's journey still lingered, but the prospect of spending time with his friends brought a renewed energy and anticipation.

Just as Elias was about to join his friends for a long-overdue reunion, a mysterious message appeared on his phone, shrouded in ambiguity. The sender's identity remained concealed, leaving Elias with a sense of intrigue and a cascade of unanswered questions. Little did he know, this cryptic message was about to lead him down an unexpected path, unraveling secrets that would challenge everything he thought he knew.
