What if Tony Stark had a twin sister who died at the age of 10? And no one knows about her except Tony and his parents. Tony never talks about her and the only memories he has of her are locked in a little chest and was put at the back of his mind. As long as no one says anything that has a relation to Tony's twin, he wouldn't have to think of her. It's not because they hated each other which they could never, but because it was just too hard to think of her. Losing a twin hurts like hell, it's like losing your other half, your platonic soulmates.
While Tony was the brains of the duo, Joanne was the brawn. And usually where you saw one the other is not too far away.

Growing up was pretty easy for Tony when he had his twin by his side, but when she died, everything changed for the Stark Family.

From Howard Stark, losing his daughter, his little girl, he just stuck to inventions and ignored the rest of the family and only came out of his study for meal times but even then he would eat in his study to be alone and sulk of the loss of his baby girl.

From Maria Stark, who lost her only daughter who she used to dress up with, play tea parties with and just enjoyed spending mother and daughter time. But now she can't even do that anymore. And whenever she thinks of Joanne Stark it would just utterly destroy her.

Now lastly is Tony Stark, who couldn't bare to feel the hurt and pain of losing a twin. Her death hit him the most and it was the hardest thing he ever had to let go of. It was the hardest death to accept. It became depressing to have to live without his twin who was beside him since they were form in their mother's womb together. The hardest and most heart wrenching thing was about Joanne's death was that Tony wasn't there to say goodbye to her after she died in the hospital.

Joanne died by bleeding in the brain. Like got blunt-trauma to the head after a robbery happened where she went down to the store down the street from the Stark's old house. Joanne tried to be a hero and call the police while the shopkeeper distracted the robber. But the robber saw Joanne calling and grabbed her, then slammed her against the fridges and then body-slammed her to the ground with her head being hit twice from the fridge and floor. Joanne was knocked out cold. By the time police arrived Joanne became conscious, but lost consciousness when being questioned by police on what happened. The ambulance arrived and Joanne was then taken to the hospital, the paramedics informed the hospital to call about a little girl losing consciousness. The hospital because they were unable to get information out of the girl due to her being unconscious had to do a blood sample and try to find her identity. Then after some shocking information on the little girl. Howard and Maria Stark was then informed about Joanne so they came rushing to the hospital.

Getting there, the hospital nurses directed the Stark parents up a couple of floors in the elevator then to the room that seems to be a waiting room. The nurse left them there while she goes to check up on the doctor who is acquired to take care of Joanne. After a few minutes waiting, the nurse comes back with the doctor and starts explaining to Joanne's parents what happened and what is going to happen. Asking and answering questions are discussed by four adults huddled together to talk about the situation and how to work through it. Suddenly a beeping and blaring noises could be heard from Joanne's room, making all adults look confused at each other before the doctor and nurse's eyes widen and they start sprinting down the hall and into Joanne's room with Howard and Maria Stark following closely behind. They start panicking when they realize the blaring noise is coming from Joanne's room and started thinking the worst. Seconds, then turns to minutes then to hours after the doctor and nurses come out of the room with a defeated expression. That's when Maria and Howard realized what had happened and Maria starts falling to the floor and cry her heart out with Howard catching and cradling her close to his body while tears are balling out of his eyes too.

Tony was soon informed after the death of Joanne. His heart felt like it stopped and rebooted only to stop again and his whole world tumbled and crashed before his eyes. His twin sister, his other half and his platonic soulmate has just left this world and there's nothing he could do about it. And the worst part of all was that he didn't get to say goodbye.

Joanne had died on August 12th 1980. Only to reborn again on September 2nd 1964.
