(This AU starts when Liam had gotten eliminated, everything is the same up to this point.)

Liam landed back on the sidewalks of the Golden Gate Bridge, the harsh rain crashing down, as the temperature change threw him off. He was eliminated. he got up, and walks through the rain, just wanting to see his home again, each footstep on the sidewalk making a gentle splash to collide with the sound of heavy rainfall. after a long walk, he stopped infront of his office building. Looking up at the unlit tower. He saw a sign on the door. "Shut down due to health violations." His home was about three miles from here. And the rain was too harsh to walk in. He needed shelter immediately, so he grabbed the nearest stone and smashed the doors glass, as he crawled through the new hole he just made. Seeing the dark building, he remembered it all. His memories he made here. The jokes made by the break room, the taunting and the teasing of each co-worker, sending eachother into laughing fits. Now he will never have those memories again, his brain is now focused on one thing. And that's the plane. What does it all mean? He wants to solve this mystery. But is he willing to throw everything away, just to find out? I mean. It's not like he has anything anymore, he doesn't have a job, he doesn't have his bike, and if he has been gone for so long. Maybe his house was sold aswell. For now. He needs sleep. As he just lied down infront of the front desk. And closed his eyes...

Before Liam could react. He was woken up by the sounds of police cars. The shattering of the door caused a silent alarm. He just sat up, as the police entered the building. At the sight of Liam, they all gasped. As they just helped him up, and started to take him to the vehicle. They didn't put him in cuffs like they do with criminals. That put Liam's mind into a good place. As the police officers got in the vehicle, and started to Drive. The officer in the passenger seat looked back, he seemed to be in shock still. As they started to talk into the radio

"We have a 10-65. Missing person Liam Plecak. Over."

After some static someone in the other line picks up

"10-45?"

"10-45A."

The officer in the passenger seat looks back again. And looks Liam up and down. Liam obviously doesn't look that okay, mentally that is.

"10-42 of Liam Plecak."

"But you said they are okay?"

"Possibly 10-51. Or something. They just seem off..."

That was the end of the conversation. Liam hadn't understood any of that. Nor did he care right now. The sounds of the rain in the roof of the car sounded soothing. After hearing nothing but the blazing sun on the plane for months. It felt so great to hear such a familiar noise. A wave of freedom rushed over Liam. No longer being on the plane. No longer having to compete in that competition. And yet. He still felt like his journey wasn't even half way done yet...

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Liam lied down in the prison cell. The grey tone of the whole place is so diffrent. Way diffrent then the colorful scene of the plane. After lying down for what only felt like a few minutes. An officer came to the door
"Liam. You are needed in the interrogation room."
Liam got up. And walked over to the door. Not saying a word. He walked by other violent criminals. Banging on the cells. He wasn't imprisoned yet. The thought of being freed from the plane. Only to be imprisoned again. He just couldn't live like that. As he entered the room. A familiar face stood before Liam. It was Owen. His old co-worker.
"Liam. It actually is you!" Owen said. Smiling.
"Owen? What happened? I mean to the 'Guys this is a building' Company."
