Maisie's POV

Hey, I'm Maisie Sturniolo, and I'm just going to tell you a little about myself to give you some backstory.

I grew up in Somerville Massachusetts with my four older brothers, and I'm the only one who hasn't left home. My boyfriend and I live with my parents, and three of my brothers come back regularly from LA to stay for a couple weeks, while my our other brother Justin only lives 30 minutes away. My brothers who live in LA are triplets, and have a YouTube channel with 5.7 million subscribers. Years ago, when they first started their channel, my brothers asked me if I wanted to be in one of their videos. I said no, and that I actually didn't want their fans to know I exist. So they have to be careful while filming here in Boston, and neither them or Nate can mention our relationship. It sounds dumb I know, but I had my reasons, and they all respected that. So as far as their fans know, they only have an older brother. One thing I love is nicknames, and I have nicknames for everyone in my inner circle, and they're also their nickname for me. For example Justin and I call each each other Buddy, and My brothers friend Madi and I call each other Bae. I'm quite close with everyone in my family, but nick and I did a lot together growing up because he always isolated himself from groups before he came out, and I was the only daughter. As well as being close with Nick, I also spent a lot of time with Justin. He always made sure I felt like I fitted in, even though I was the only girl. He let me play with his cars, and he played with my dolls, and if the triplets were doing something fun like going to a friend's house, Justin always made sure we had a good time together even if we just watched a movie on the couch.

Anyway, on to the important part, the topic of mine and Nates relationship. I'll begin at the start, but try to keep it short. Our Mums have been best friends since the fucking dinosaurs were around, they promised that they'd have children at the same time, and years later my mum had Justin... Then the triplets... Then Natalie had Nate... Then Mum had me... Then Natalie had Shane. Now, the triplets and Nate were born a year apart, close enough right? No! That's not close enough, and even if it were, Mum and Natalie promised that the two children of theirs born the closest together would be the absolute best of friends, and that's not really possible to the fullest extent when there's three of them and one of Nathan. 7 months after Nate was born, I arrived, and our mothers were very pleased. Nathan and I have been best friends since day one. No, literally. He met me in the hospital after I was born before my brothers did, and he basically named me. When we were very young, I kissed Nate in the hopes that it would make him feel better after he got hurt. At the time, everyone thought it was cute, but going to end at that. Boy were they wrong. What nobody knew back then, was that was basically the day Nate and I started dating, and our relationship would only grow stronger after that moment. Nate and I have never 'made our relationship official', but when people ask how long we've been dating we say since 2006. And there's always been the understanding between everyone we know that Nate and I are dating, and we will never be 'available' to anyone else.

Now, onto the part where things start to get a little weird.

You know that thing when you call your Mum's close friend Aunty? Yeah... I think you know where I'm going with this. Ever since we were born, it's been 'Aunty Natalie and Uncle Patrick' or 'Aunty Mary Lou and Uncle Jimmy'. Even when Justin was a little kid. But that doesn't mean we are cousins, I mean that would kinda be fucked up. Nick Matt and Chris are Nate's best friends, but none of them are his best friend if you know what I mean. And the last thing is, that Justin has always been like a older brother to Nate and Shane. When the triplets, Nathan, and I would hang out, Shane often stayed at home with Justin. So it meant he became a second big brother to him. And as for Nate, he never had an older brother of his own, and because the two families were so close, Justin was like everyone's big brother, so it was like Nathan always had another brother, even if they weren't biologically related.

So just to sum it up for you, all of us call each other's parents 'Aunty and Uncle', we aren't cousins, some of us are best friends, some of us are like siblings, some of us are siblings, and two of us are dating. I know, it's a Complicated Situation!
