My brothers are being so annoying they keep trying to give me advice on asking my crush out, my crush is also my childhood best friend I had a crush on them for a while now maybe eight years I told my brothers about this and their trying to give me advice but it's not working "You can ask them on a date then confess your feelings for them" Bruce is the one who says the most Clay can't think JD is sleeping and Branch is out somewhere with Poppy he would probably know what to do I sigh "You know what, you guys aren't helping" I say with an annoyed tone so they can take a hint that their advice is trash "I'm going to find Branch" I get up and try to find Branch

"Okay I think you should just tell them" "Branch it's not that easy what if they reject me!" "They won't" Branch says trying to encourage me "You don't know that" I'm starting to get tired of branch's bs just because he asked Poppy out and she said yes it doesn't mean that it's going to be like that to everyone, he thinks it's so easy but it's not "You know what whatever I'm leaving" I think I may do it maybe I'll ask them but I don't know where they are maybe at the river near their house I'll check I walk to the river and see y/n there their feet in the water I walk up to them and set next to them "Do you think I look ugly Floyd?" I couldn't believe what I was hearing y/n is the most beautiful person I have ever met "No you're beautiful any  way" i can see their eyes start tearing up, “I know things are probably hard right now, and I am sorry, but I promise you will be okay. You are so beautiful inside and out and I am sorry you feel how you do. I wish you could see yourself how I see you. You are such an amazing person I love you y/n.” my face starts to heat up y/n looks at me "thank you Floyd but I don't like you like that" my heart broke when they said that "What?" They got up and left.
