It's been a month since that chemistry read and it's been extremely busy. In the last three days alone, I've gone to a premiere, three meetings regarding the movie, two meetings for my next album, and the rest of my time has been spent either in the studio or memorizing lines.

Today's been a little slower. It's 10am and I'm making some breakfast at home while the audio book for We'll Watch the Stars Burn plays over a speaker.

I finished my breakfast and checked my phone.

It's 5:40am and I'm currently driving to set. I'm called at 6:15 and I live about 25 minutes away, so I'll get there about 10 minutes early.

I'm blaring Nicki Minaj to try to wake myself up as I drive through the city, trying to forget about the fact that I could be asleep in my bed right now. I've been up since 4:50 and I really didn't go to sleep early enough to be up right now but it's okay, this movie is worth it.

That's what I have to keep telling myself.

It's worth it.

It's worth it.

It's worth it.

That's been the mantra I've repeated to myself since I started this life. It's for when I start to lose my focus, when I lose sight of what I've been chasing since I was little, when I forget everything that I've accomplished and the glory of it all at the finish line.

Anyways, I drove into the backlots and went straight to the trailers where Riley met me with oatmeal and an iced tea, I love this woman.

I ate as we talked and then headed to hair and makeup where I alternated running lines and talking to the girls working on me for the next hour. As soon I was in hair and makeup I was out and back in my trailer with a closet full of perfectly organized pre-styled outfits.
