Our story begins at the entrance of Signal Academy the turning of classes three individuals exited. One of the stretching while yawning. This girl was Seolfor " Seo" Lindwyrm a 17-year-old girl with light ash purple hair reaching down her upper back and platinum pink eyes.

Seo: *yawn* I  thought that ceremony would never end.  I don't think I've seen your uncle that sober before.

The ash purple-haired girl said teasingly to the shorter girl in red, who didn't seem to be bothered by the comment but by something else. The second girl noticed this girl was Madeline Noire a tall girl almost a woman, with raven hair despite being in two large buns, the loose hair fell to the back of her lower head.

Madeline: why the long face Rosebud? We just graduated.

Rosebud a nicked name given to her by friends for her name, Ruby Rose a girl recently 17  with black and red hair...and silver eyes...filled with distraught.

Ruby: yeah, but Yang skipped it.

Madeline and Seolfor looked at each other knowing the back to their friends.

Seo: we'll you know Yang likes to do things her way, speaking of which, how should we celebrate?

Madeline: a new spicy Ramen shop opened up, they have this new broth that melts your face off.

Seo cringed at the thought of spicy face melting Ramen soup but she couldn't say no to Madeline.

Seo: that's...not a bad idea, Ruby, how does that sound?

Ruby: actually, I think I want to go home... mom probably wants to hear the good news.

Seo and Madeline both look at each other again before looking back at Ruby.

Seo: all right, guess the next time we see you will be as a Beacon student.

Madeline: try and stay out of trouble until then, Rosebud.

With that three friends split ways and Ruby took the train home like she usually did standing while looking at the moving horizon... however there was something new. A girl with bright fluffy mint green hair, with a pair of striking spiraled horns, like she hadn't seen before, however, what got her attention the most was a strangely intricate serrated lance-like weapon in their possession.

Ruby studied the weapon asking a million questions in her head, but before she got to ask, the girl was right in front of her.

Goat girl: excuse me?

Ruby: huh?

Goat girl: my stop is coming up, and I was wondering if you would like to have my seat.

The Goat girl smiled at Ruby, who only nodded and took the set and the Goat girl left with another word.

Ruby: I should have asked her about her weapon...weapons

Later Ruby got off walking through the street until she found herself at a store called Dust till Dawn. Great by the shop owner.

Owner: hello! welcome in.

Ruby exchanged greetings before looking through the aisles she found a a copy of " Wonders of Weapons monthly issue #1813 ".
