Florence Bishop lives a relatively normal life with her dad Jason who is the Chief of Neurosurgery at Beacon Hills Memorial Hospital, unfortunately her mom Dana died when Florence was 3 so it's just been the two of them ever since.
They live in a nice house in a nice secluded neighborhood thanks to his large salary, down the road from her best friend since 1st grade Lydia Martin. When she was in 2nd grade she met the duo of Scott McCall and Stiles Stilinski and have been friends ever since. She discovered her love for swimming at the age of 7 and has been like a mermaid ever since.
