A Sword Art Online Adventure

Chapter 1

Todays the day i've been waiting for they finally released the VRMMO Sword Art Online! i've been waiting rather impatiently to be able to play it. so as time neared for me to be able to finally log on i ate and got ready and set everything up and finally put my nerve gear on. "LINK START!" i say loudly. i relax as i set everything up and finally get logged into the game. i look around in astonishment at the beauty of the town of beginnings. "wow it really is as beautiful as the beta testers said it is." i say as i look around myself. "Oh hey Carly, I see you finally logged in wanna go level up a bit with me?" i turn and see my long time best friend Mia walking towards me her blue eyes were shining in excitement ,she had her long dark brown hair up in a ponytail much like me and she was wearing a cute pink shirt paired with a short black pleated skirt and armor to finish off the look with brown boots and a sword at her hip. i smile at seeing her "Hey sure sounds good lets go i don't wanna be a low level forever." I say and so we go and start our adventure. "we've been leveling up for a bit now do you wanna go back to the town of beginnings and take a break maybe get some better gear?" I ask Mia. she nods and with that we head back but as were walking we hear a bell tolling and stop to listen. "what's goin on?" Mia and I say in unison. soon enough our questions are answered when we are teleported back to the town of beginnings. we look at each other then around in confusion as more and more players are also transported around us. we eventually find out when SAO's creator come out to tell us what was going on and once he was finished everyone was transformed into our actual selves and not what our avatars had looked like before. my long blonde hair and hazel eyes stared back at me in the mirror Kiaba had provided to everyone. I look at Mia who shared the same shocked and fearful expression as me. we both knew he wasn't lying to us all, this was all very real and we could actually die. "we need to head over to the next town we can continue to level up and get better gear there and hopefully figure out where to go from there." i say and Mia agrees and with that we head off to the next town and do as we planned. we continued to grind and get as much money and gear as we possibly could. {TIME SKIP TO TWO MONTHS LATER} I was currently off on my own i've been for a while Mia decided she wanted to start a guild and i wanted to be on my own for a bit so there i was walking around the beautiful garden of floor forty-seven it was absolutely stunning and i was so glad i could experience it. i've been leveling up and helping up in the front lines for a bit and i've been able to meet tons of new people which is pretty nice considering how anti social i can be. as i was walking i got a notification that i got a message. "oh it's from Mia wonder what she wants." the message read "hey Carly i know you like being a solo player but my guild could really use some more help...would you wanna come join you don't have to be full time and you can go solo whenever but the help would be nice. let me know you're answer whenever. <3-Mia." I smile at her message and think about it as i walk around the garden a bit longer. as i'm walking i hear people arguing so i go over to investigate and see what the commotion is all about, as i get to the source of the yelling i see three big men in black and scarlet red clothes with armor on taunting a smaller boy in regular black and grey clothes and armor with curly black hair and amber eyes by holding what seems to be his sword up high to where he cant reach to grab it back. i get pissed and walk up to the group and knee the man holding the boys sword right in his groin, as i do this the man drops the sword and groans in pain as the boy grabs his sword and rushes to hide behind me fearfully. "What the hell was that for you bitch?!" the man says angrily. i smirk, "you shouldn't be a prick and bully people man just sayin..." i say. he growls angrily and grabs me by the chest plate and brings his face close to mine, "you're lucky my guild has a thing about harming girls or else you'd get you're ass beat you bitch" he says as spit flys onto my face making me cringe. "what kind of guild even makes rules like that?" i ask trying to see what guild these douches were apart of so i could warn Mia of them. " that would be the Crimson Dragons sweetheart..." i hear a new mans voice say. i look over and see a man in similar armor to the ass holding me up was wearing. he was handsome for sure with black hair and brown eyes but he gave off the impression that he was also a prick like his other guild-mates here. i roll my eyes, "ah okay so ya'll are all just a bunch of pricks i get it, noted i'll steer far away from you guys then." i say. i look at the guy holding me, "can you put me down already you dick?" he smirks at me, "nah i haven't gotten a chance to punish you for that lil stunt you pulled on me yet" he says and then shortly goes to punch me. "didn't you just say you're not allowed to hit girls?" i ask. "i forgot to mention that only applies when i'm actually at the guild or we're collaborating with another guild." he says and he goes to finish off the punch and as his fist connects with my stomach then my face i feel him jerked away from me, i open my eyes and see the boy i saved had ran into the man releasing me from his grasp and landing on the ground. i quickly grab the boy and run away from the guys. as i look behind me to see if we were being followed, i see the cute boy punch the jack ass who hit me hard enough to knock him on his ass as the boy yell at the man now on the ground. eventually i stop running and look at the boy i saved he looked pretty young probably around the age of thirteen maybe even fifteen, " hey thank you for helping me back there i say to him." he shakes his head, "no thank you for helping me they were being rude to me and making fun of how small i am." he said. "well again thank you, so whats you're name? My name is Carly" i say to him. "my name is Nico" he says shyly. "well it's nice to meet you, do you wanna come join my friends guild with me? she needs all the help she can get i'm sure she'll be excited to hear you wanna join up as well." i say to him. he nods "oh sure i've been looking to join a guild i just couldn't find one i liked enough. whats the name of it?" he asks. "oh its called the Wolf's Fang. My friend Mia loves wolves." i say with a small laugh. "oh sweet i love wolves too!" Nico says with a huge smile on his face. i look at him as we walk towards the teleport gate. "if you don't mind me asking how old are you?" i say. "oh i don't mind i'm thirteen. How about you?" he asks me. "wow so i was somewhat right about you're age..oh and i'm eighteen." i reply, we continue our walk and get to know more about each other, i'm starting to see him as a little brother and want to protect him and get him out of this horrid situation. he was so young yet here he was all the way on floor Forty seven. he told me that he had been with a partner but they got separated and he thinks they might be dead. we teleport to the guild and when we walk up Mia runs up to me and hugs me in excitement and the looks worried once she sees my battered face. "what the hell did you do now?!" she asks rather loudly. "well i was helping Nico here get his sword back from a bunch of pricks in the Crimson Dragon's Guild." i explain to Mia as i gesture to little Nico who is standing behind me shyly. she smiles at him warmly. "well are you wanting to join the guild too? cuz we could use all the help possible." she says with a huge smile on her face. Nico nods as he clings to my arm. Mia smiles, "great you two can follow me and we'll get you guys all set up with some armor and uniforms." she says as she leads us to the armory/uniform storage area. "so Carly i know you prefer your stuff dark so i had a uniform specially made much like everyone here we all have some sort of shade of purple on our uniforms just depends on how light or dark they prefer their clothes." she says as she hands me my uniform then gives Nico his. we go and get dressed into our uniforms. after i've finished getting dressed i look at myself in the full length mirror and smile. my uniform consists of a tight black long sleeved shirt with a short dark purple skirt with a light purple stripe just above the edge of the skirt along with black thigh high socks and dark grey boots and of course my dark almost graphite grey armor with my long sword on a black belt at my hip. i walk out and see Nico wearing similar colors as me but he had a dark royal purple t shirt with black pants and boots and matching armor as me and topped off with a long dark grey coat. i smile at him and he returns the smile. " these are actually perfect Mia you killed it as usual." i say in excitement Nico nods in approval as well. "i'm glad you guys love them, now lets go introduce you guys to the guild and get some dinner then some sleep." we follow her to the dining hall and introduce ourselves and then sit down next to Mia to eat, after dinner Mia shows us to our rooms and we say our goodnights and go to bed. i step into my room and look around and see a beautiful large window that has a beautiful view of a meadow full of flowers sprawled out of the castle our guild resides in. i change into my pajamas and then lay in bed and quickly fall asleep.
