" Hey Zoe  ! " I looked over to see my best friend since preschool run up to me. " Hi Raiden " i smiled at her, while she hooked our arms together. She's like my sister, we always protected each other, we are basically inseparable. Most people say we look alike which i highly doubt because she has dark hair, I have light brown. She has brown eyes, I have hazel green eyes. So I don't see how we look alike. 

" You coming to practice tomorrow night?" she asked me while we tried to get to our lockers which is right next to each other.

We both are in gymnastics. I also do martial arts and we both do archery. Raiden also takes up swimming and kick boxing. And she's is a freaking boss. Like oh my gosh. 

" Yeah hopefully my Dad doesn't have another on of those emergency's." i nodded closing my locker. I'm not bringing anything. Raiden nodded and slammed her locker. We started walking to class arguing about whose better in our archery class. " Clearly I'm the better one. " i said playfully rolling my eyes at her. "Okay just because you got one point then I got doesn't make you better than me. " she argued back. Also Raiden is very competitive. " Fine how about this" she said causing me to look at her "after school we should go down to the forest and THEN we'll see whose better. " she smirked. She isn't gonna let this go is she. " Deal?" she held out her hand waiting for me to shake her hand. I held a firm grasp on her hand. " You're On. " 

Once we let go she fist pumped the air causing me to laugh at her. " C'mon dork before we are late. " I rested my arm over her shoulder as we walked into our last class for today. Ah English class. The classroom that I dread going to the most. I sat down beside Grover. One of Raiden's bestfriends. We're aren't really close but we get along pretty well. " I'm Mrs. Dodds your new substitute teacher" I blocked her out and started drawling in my note book. All I seen on the chalkboard behind Mrs. Dodds where something that is in Greek. I'm pretty sure we weren't learning about that the last time I checked. " Zoella ? " My head snapped up. " Y-Yes? "

" Would you like to explain the quote i just gave" she asked me moving to the side and gesturing towards the board. I read the words carefully as they moved creating an image. I closed my eyes and shook my head. She looked at me and called on someone else. I don't like giving answers in class, since at my old school I was basically the nerd on the Greek Mythology subjects. But since then I don't talk in class." Percy ?" she asked and everyone's head looked at him. He stared at the board for a moment " I'm sorry. I don't know. " Mrs. Dodds looked disappointed but started talking again. I didn't know how long I was looking at him until our eyes met. Okay I didn't want to say staring, that's just creepy. I quickly looked away pretending to work on my drawing. I sighed waiting for this day to be over already. 

Finally the bell rings and I quickly grab my things and walked out of the door. " ZO WAIT UP! " Raiden ran to catch up to me I slowed down for her. " What was that in there ? " I frowned my eyebrows, she gave me a knowing look back. " We both know you knew the about that quote since you are a NERD for Greekology. " " Greek mythology " I corrected her. " Or Geekology" she made a small joke about me being a Nerd. I shrugged my shoulders and walked out of the front doors skipping down the stairs to our bikes. I unchained it and hopped on. " Race ya to the forest! " Raiden pasted me on her bike getting a head start. " HEY NO FAIR! " I laughed hopping on pedaling fast to catch up. She crossed the street without looking where she was going. " RAIDEN" I yelled after her almost getting hit by a car my-self. Finally catching up to her on the sidewalk riding side by side. " You're are so lucky I'm out of breath " i said making her jerk her head back in laughter. I rolled my eyes at my friend. Not looking where I'm going I almost ran a guy over. " WATCH OUT! " I yelled making him turn then I noticed the guy from my class. 

Riding past I looked back checking if I did any damage. Which gladly I didn't hurt anybody. 

We finally got to the edge of the forest getting off of our bikes and taking our bow and arrows out of our gym bags. Raiden's bow is Blue and White, and her arrows are white with a gold head. Mine's is just a plain, boring black  bow, with an black wooden like arrow that my Dad made for me. Eh it's nothing special. We filled our quivers with 5 arrows and slung the strap over our shoulders. " So what are we hunting for ? " I asked as we walked through the forest with bows in our hands. " There's already targets set up remember" She gave me a confused look until I remember this is the same place we had the tournament at. She pulled her phone setting a timer. " Whoever runs out of arrows within 15 minutes hitting the targets center Wins. " she set her phone down marking the spot. I nodded while slipping my finger less gloves on and pulled my hair back into a low ponytail. "Ready " she said we both getting our weapons ready. " Set " she looked at me, while I get in running position. " Go " we both ran through the forest shooting at targets. Both of our arrows hitting a bulls eye.
