Lost in my mind

On an adventure

It was early July where we already seen a good bit of sun. The school was breaking up for the summer and Finley my best friend and kinda crush looked gorgeous in the sun with his golden brown hair and grey eyes. I could feel everything come to a halt as he turns to look at me, calling out my name. "REEEEVAAA!!" he yells running to me and giving me a quick tight hug I can feel my face go red. "Finnleyyy" I say giggling "yep" I try to get all sought of stupid thoughts out of my head and try to start a conversation, Ive found serious conversations help. "You remember the camping trip we were planning" I say he nods "Well Aeros said he could drive us there as long as he can come along. He said he wanted to spend time with violet, hes trying to get her to be his girlfriend but she keeps regecting him and for good reason!"  "I dont know Rev. Aeros is a a bit much..... ALL of the time aswell and if he did come would Violet have fun ?" I frown knowing what he said was true. "So how do we get there then ?" I say as something rams me from behind and I fall forward.

 Finley catches me in his arms. "Penelope you got to be more careful you pushed Reva" I turn full of embarssement even though being caught by Finley felt like it was out of a story book scene. "Penny" I say giving her the stink eye. She composes herself "Ah sorry Reva didnt see you there I thought Id tell Finley that me and my family are going to Seville and Im going to invite him to come along with us" she says sending me a menacing smile. "You know because were family friends and your not" she stops looking at me and turns to Finley "So wanna come hun" I turn to look at Finley who surprisingly hasn't let go yet. "Penelope first of all its Finnick only my close friends can call me Finley and we're only family friends because your mother keeps showing up at our house drunk and your father asked us to take care of her if she ever come over. SO I wont be coming with your family to Seville so have fun, me and Reva are gonna go camping with Violet" I elbow Finley and whisper "hey cut it out you cant say that out loud" he looks down at me and shakes his head "Then stop letting her push you around and not just metaphorically" he says looking away. I'm a bit confused as he's never been so agitated before. Penelope grabs my arm away from him or well tries to. I let out a small yelp from the sudden pain but Finley smacks her arm off. "Penelope leave now"  he says. She flips her hair and walks off. "Reva..revvaa ?? are you okay" he says I look down at my arm rubbing it. "Yeah yeah im alright".  "Sure ?" "Yes im sure" I say "Lets go get lunch" he nods finally letting me go and turns red realising that hes being holding me this whole time. I pretend not to notice so he wouldn't be embarrassed.

We see Violet sitting on the table with Griffin they seem to be looking at some sort of book. "HEY VIOLETTT" I shout, she turns her head to me "REVVVAAAAA OVER HERE LOOK WHAT WE FOUND". Me and Finley rush over and slide our legs under the table. We both put our hands on the sides of our face and turn to look at them creepily trying not to giggle. "What did you find my Lord" we say simultaneously without blinking our serious face turning into an emotionless smile. "Alright you both need to stop doing that, it's actually freaky that you both can time it so well too" says Violet as she moves slightly away from us next to Griffin. I break first laughing and Finley joins in. "Alright Alright what were u trying to tell us" I say giggling. "Well Il let Griffin explain" Violet says nodding towards him. "Ah thanks Vi well I found this place we could visit it's called the silver meadows and it's really beautiful and great for camping" Griffin turns to look at us "OOOOHHHHhhh that sounds interesting!! and perfect lets go there then" I say Finley nods. "Okay then it's decided we're going to silver meadows" Violet says and we all let out a "YAYYY!!!"
