More on the AU, I haven't seen enough Poppy Angst that is about her and not about, for e.g.: Branch's death. Like most of the Angst that people say is Poppy angst is about her friend or boyfriends death which sort of annoys me. Anyways, Velvet escapes prison (without Veneer as she didn't want him to snitch again) and wants to be happy but can't with the circumstances she decides to go to the Forest to try and find somewhere else where she isn't known as a Criminal and is allured by a certain (toxic) positivity coming from the one and only Queen Poppy of the Pop trolls, kidnaps her and takes her happiness. (POV: Bergens be like :3)
