Terry and his students, minus Tory, were at Cobra Kai's flagship dojo.

Terry spoke. "When I look around today, I see the future. Now, it's no secret our past has been flawed. Sensei Kreese fell victim to his demons. But John Kreese is not Cobra Kai. We are. We've already shown we're champions. But that championship is merely a springboard to new heights. That's why I've brought in some of the finest senseis in the Valley. Consider this their job interview."

Tory entered the dojo.

"Let's all give it up. Champ is in the house." Terry said.

Tory's fellow students cheered.

Tory stood next to Kenny.

"She's allowed to be a little late. Today." Terry laughed.

"When are you going to bring your trophy in?" Kenny asked Tory.

"Not today." Tory said.

Terry spoke. "All right, warm up. The senseis will instruct you. Let's see what they know."

The students began warming up with their new instructors. Chozen paired up with Tory.

"So, you are champion, eh?" Chozen asked.

"Yeah, I guess." Tory said.

"Good. Then I will not go easy on you." Chozen said.

Johnny asked a man how to get to the destination marked on the scammers' map. The man did not speak English. He told Johnny he was in a tow zone and needed to move his car. Due to the language barrier, Johnny could not understand the man, which resulted in his car being towed.

Miguel awakened in Hector's house. He walked down the stairs and made his way to the kitchen.

Hector was standing behind the counter. He smiled when he saw Miguel.

"Hey! There he is. You must have been wiped out, right?" Hector asked.

"Yeah, a little bit. What are you...What are you making?" Miguel asked.

"Ah, we're making my famous churrasco." Hector pinched the fingers and thumb of his right hand together, kissed them, and blew them away.

"Churrasco. Okay." Miguel said.

"Yeah. Get in there. Let me see those quick reflexes. Tell me where you learned to move like that." Hector told Miguel.

Miguel walked up to Hector. He grabbed a knife and began chopping bell peppers.

"Okay. Uh, well, I studied martial arts. Karate. I won a championship back home." Miguel said.

Hector chuckled. "A champion in California? Wow! I'm surprised I never heard of you."

"Well, actually, you...You might have. Uh, it's...It's kind of why I'm here." Miguel said.

Luis ran into the kitchen, laughing as Maria chased him.

"Oh, sorry. It can get hectic here. The little guy is a real handful." Hector said.

"You ever think of having any more or..." Miguel trailed off.

"Oh, no, no. He's not mine. He's from her previous marriage. Never had any kids of my own." Hector said.

"Oh." Miguel said.

"I was almost a family man once. Yeah. Even got married. We started talking about having kids. But she left." Hector said.

"That's...That's too bad." Miguel said.

"Hmm. Hey!" Hector clapped. "I've got a great idea. I'm going to El Hoyo Verde later. You've got to come out with me. You'll love it."

Miguel was hesitant. "Uh..."
