The campus, adorned with the golden hues of a setting sun, held an air of finality as Akari walked through the familiar pathways of Seoul Arts University. The laughter that once danced in the corridors now felt like a distant memory, replaced by the heavy silence of a heart weighed down by unspoken farewells and shattered dreams.

Her college journey had begun with a promise of love, a connection with Bada that seemed destined to withstand the test of time. The prologue of their story had unfolded in shared laughter, whispered confessions, and stolen moments that created a tapestry of fleeting happiness. Yet, beneath the surface, an undertow of uncertainty tugged at Akari's heart.

Late-night study sessions turned into hushed conversations, and quiet moments in the campus courtyard became opportunities for unspoken confessions. The rooftop, once a sanctuary for shared dreams, had become a stage for the unraveling of a love story that was never meant to endure.

As the weeks passed, Akari and Bada found themselves caught in the complexities of college life. The weight of unspoken words and the fear of an impending goodbye cast shadows over the love that had once flourished in the light of shared dreams.

One somber evening, under the fading glow of the campus lights, Akari and Bada stood on the deserted rooftop. The city skyline stretched before them, a backdrop to the final act of a love story that had been written with the ink of heartbreak.

"Bada," Akari began, her voice trembling with the weight of unspoken truths, "there's something I need to tell you."

She turned to her, her eyes reflecting a mixture of curiosity and unease. The air was charged with an unspoken heaviness, the city below seeming to hold its breath.

"I can't imagine my college experience without you," Akari admitted, her voice carrying the weight of impending sorrow. "You've been my closest friend, my confidant, and the one constant in this whirlwind of change."

Bada nodded, a flicker of understanding in her eyes. The rooftop, once a sanctuary, now felt like a precipice where their connection teetered on the edge of an inevitable fall.

"And yet," Akari continued, her gaze steady but filled with sadness, "there's something more, something I've been afraid to admit."

A heavy silence hung in the air as Bada waited for her to continue, uncertainty etched on her face.

"I've realized that nothing in my college experience compares to the moments we've shared," Akari confessed, her voice breaking with the weight of her admission. "But, Bada, I think I need to figure out who I am outside of us. I think we need to let go."

The rooftop became a silent witness to the truth, a space where dreams shattered and hearts fractured. Bada's eyes betrayed a mix of shock and heartache as the words hung in the air, a final nail in the coffin of their once-blossoming love.

"But we have planned a dream for both of us Akari" Bada's voiced was laced with heartbreak and so much sadness that Akari herself couldn't find the right words to reply to her now ex-lover.

"Bada, I love you so much more than you could ever know but i realized that i need to find out who i truly am instead of being oblivious to this cruel world" Akari replied her voice breaking in between sentences. Bada then nodded and understood her now ex-lover's wishes.

"𝑨𝒌𝒂𝒓𝒊 𝑭𝒐𝒓𝒈𝒊𝒗𝒆 𝒎𝒆, 𝒏𝒐𝒕 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒕𝒆𝒂𝒓𝒔 𝑰 𝒔𝒉𝒆𝒅. 𝑩𝒖𝒕 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒐𝒏𝒆𝒔 𝑰 𝒄𝒂𝒖𝒔𝒆𝒅 𝒕𝒐 𝒄𝒂𝒔𝒄𝒂𝒅𝒆 𝒅𝒐𝒘𝒏 𝒚𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝒄𝒉𝒆𝒆𝒌𝒔, 𝑬𝒂𝒄𝒉 𝒅𝒓𝒐𝒑 𝒂 𝒓𝒆𝒇𝒍𝒆𝒄𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝒐𝒇 𝒎𝒚 𝒔𝒉𝒐𝒓𝒕𝒄𝒐𝒎𝒊𝒏𝒈𝒔" Bada Said her voice whispering out each sentence her breath becoming short.

"𝑰 𝒇𝒐𝒓𝒈𝒊𝒗𝒆 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒏𝒐𝒕 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒑𝒂𝒊𝒏 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒄𝒂𝒖𝒔𝒆𝒅, 𝑩𝒖𝒕 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝒎𝒚 𝒐𝒘𝒏 𝒔𝒂𝒌𝒆. 𝑲𝒏𝒐𝒘𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒕𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒉𝒆𝒂𝒍𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒃𝒆𝒈𝒊𝒏𝒔 𝒘𝒊𝒕𝒉 𝒍𝒆𝒕𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒈𝒐" Akari voiced out her sentences and words becoming scrambled her heartbeat slowing down in the process of what once used to be so full of joy.

"I hope that in another life the universe would let me be with you my Utsukushī Umi " Akari voiced out her tears visibly running down her cheeks.

Bada then wiped Akari's cheeks while replying to Akari "I hope so too i wouldn't choose anyone except you my Tsuki " Bada replied to Akari whilst her tears were also running down her Cheeks.

"𝑰 𝒘𝒊𝒍𝒍 𝑳𝒐𝒗𝒆 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒇𝒐𝒓𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒓, 𝑴𝒚 𝑻𝒔𝒖𝒌𝒊" Said Bada whilst Smiling down at her now ex-lover with doe heart eyes.

"𝑰 𝒘𝒊𝒍𝒍 𝒂𝒍𝒘𝒂𝒚𝒔 𝒕𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒔𝒖𝒓𝒆 𝒚𝒐𝒖, 𝑴𝒚 𝑼𝒕𝒔𝒖𝒌𝒖𝒔𝒉𝒊̄ 𝑼𝒎𝒊" Akari replied while looking up at her now ex-lover her eyes indicating that they wanted a hug to which bada complied.

They shared their last moments together in each other's company hugging like there is no tomorrow and crying as if the world had just ended in their embrace.

The prologue of their college love story had been written in the shadows of unspoken fears and the unraveling of promises. As Akari and Bada stood under the fading glow of the Seoul sunset, the echoes of their shared dreams seemed to dissipate into the melancholic melody of heartbreak.

The rooftop, once a symbol of shared confessions, now served as a stage for the tragedy that would unfold in the chapters waiting to be written. The love story, once filled with hope and promise, now became a tale of shattered dreams and the inevitable pain of letting go. Little did they know that the journey ahead would be marked by the ache of heartbreak, the echoes of what could have been haunting their steps as they walked away from the rooftop where love had once blossomed.
