"Ah, you must be the Durmstrang girl."
That was the first thing Makaria heard after waking up. Yesterday had been the great entrance ceremony and she couldn't deny it, she already loved Hogwarts. Unlike Durmstrang it wasn't cold but had this comfortable and warm feel to it she missed everywhere else.

"Yeah, I am. Got a problem with that?" Makaria snarled at the ravenette that called her "that Durmstrang girl." The brunette had to admit, with slight embarrassment that her English wasn't as good as it used to be. She hadn't spoken it for the last seven years and her parents never really bothered to teach her and refresh her knowledge.
The ravenette pushes her hair to the side, leaving with a snobby and squeaky "hmpf".

Makaria scoffed, moving around in the Slytherin commonroom wich looked nothing like Soscrofa. There was another slytherin sitting near a table, she was blonde and had the blue eyes. Upon noticing that Makaria was staring at her the girl stood up and walked towards her.

"You must be the new third year! My name is Sophia, I was choosen by professor Snape to show you around the school." She politely held out her hand, for Makaria, which the brunette of course does.

hen people thought of slytherin the first thing the say is that all of them are mean. Well that can be seen as correct when your part of griffindor, or have the bad luck of talking to a pureblood raised on hating muggles. The rest of slytherin were sassy and slightly petty people.
Sophia was definitely the the second type, Makaria had only spend 5 minutes by her side and already knew the newest gossip.
"Oh, You probably didn't hear of this Makaria, but Harry Potter and one of those Weasels, or Weasley's crashed a flying car into whomping willow." Sophia said, pushing a door open that was loudly protesting.
Confused Makaria followed the blonde before stopping. "Uhh, where are we going? I thought we had breakfast now?" Sophia chuckled into her arm.
"Silly me, I forgot you don't know anything 'bout Hogwarts or Slytherin's secret traditions!" She stopped in her track on the stairs to the basement.

"You'll be assigned a Hufflepuff friend!" Thinking this was enough information the female continued to drag Makaria down the stairs. The brunette had enough of this and smacked the hand of the blonde from her sleeve.

"Please stop dragging me, I have feet. And Sophia," Makaria looked at the blonde female with a frown, "I'd prefer it if you could lead me to breakfast now. I am a Kaltain, I don't need a Hufflepuff friend." The blonde rolled her blue eyes, walking up the stairs again.

"Well, sorry Ms. Kaltain I wanted to be a good classmate and get you a friend." Sophia brushed past Makaria running up the stairs in a petty manner. The brunette sighed trailing after Sophia. How was she supposed to survive the school year if everyone was this petty.

raco mustered the Slytherin new arrival, having heard of her before. The Kaltain family was close to the Malfoy's and Black's, though they were thinking of themselves as above the other pureblood families.

"So, your not the second oldest son?" He asked with a hint of coldness in his voice. Makaria looked up from her food plate raising her eyebrow. Her parents had always made sure to raise her like a boy, in hopes that this would cause the family genetics to believe Althea was the "eldest daughter." Draco had never met her as "Makaria" having been introduced to her as Makaro, the second oldest son.
"As you can see I am not, though I don't get how such a  trival thing is important."

Makaria muttered under her breath, hiding behind a mask of emotionlessness. The Malfoy scoffs sitting down right in front of her. "Well, I don't think it's a good thing when parents hide the fact that someone is supposed to be the special child." The way he says it makes Makaria see red, who was he to talk shit about her?

Makaria rams her fork into the plate, causing it to split in half, taking Draco of guard. "I think you should learn to respect your elders before making any claims." She scoffed, before standing up and walking away.

As soon as she left the big hall she clenched her fist. She should have asked Sophia to accompany her, after all Makaria still had no idea where anything was. With a scoff she kicks against one of the castle walls.

"Aye, what did that poor wall do to make you kick it?"

Makaria looks at the voice, noticing a rainbow haired student stand in front of her. She wears the colours typical for Hufflepuff along with the Hogwarts uniform, but there was a small thing that was different from other uniforms, a small golden badger that moved around on the hem of it.

"Why do you care?" Makaria snarled, rolling her dark brown eyes. She really didn't want to bother with anyone at the moment and just scream, but this student made it hard. Makaria had to keep her face after all.

"Maybe because neither do your poor foot, nor does the wall deserve to be mishandled like that." The student hold out her hand with a polite smile, tucking their wand away.

"My name is Ireth Killian, third year, Hufflepuff. Who are you? Mistreated of walls?" Makaria really wanted to curse this student, but she couldn't allow herself to get thrown out of another school.

"Makaria Amate Kaltain. Now scram." The brunette says, slapping away the offered hand. Playfully Ireth whinces pulling her hand close to her.

"You make you name honor. Blessed by death and to terrify? Are your parents obsessed with the dark side or something?" Makaria blankly stares at Ireth. Never before has someone dared to disrespect her like this. Outside of her family. Makaria clenches her fist around her wand, trying to control every nerve in her body.

She wanted to punch Ireth in the face and there wasn't anyone in the corridor at the moment, but if someone came to witness what she was about to do getting detention would be the least of her problems. Unlike Draco, whose father would probably find a way around Dracos punishment, Makaria's parents would probably use this to finally properly disown her.

"Well Ireth? Why are you still staring here? Leave and bother someone else." The rainbow haired girl chuckles into her fist, teasingly leaning closer into Makaria's face.
"I am not sure if this would be good. You are the new third year and have potion class at the moment." She starts to walk around the brunette, her green eyes looking Makaria up and down. "Based on the fact you're still standing here, I would say that you don't know were the class is."

Makaria's left eye twitched and she runs a hand through her short cut hair. This student was really annoying. Was this what Hufflepuffs were? Annoying and up in your face? The brunette stares at the rainbow haired female.

"Why do you even want to help me? Do you gain something out of this?" Makaria asks, causing Ireth to hum and put a hand on her chin, before breaking out in a toothy grin.

"Getting straight to the point, are we?" She twirled around causing her hair to also move around the many colours swishing around. It made Makaria sick. Ireth than came to a halt the grin still plastered onto her face.

"I have nothing to loose, as we have this potion class together and with a bit of luck I'll have a slytherin friend by the end of this." Makaria blinked once or twice,  before Ireth suddenly grabbed her sleeve pulling Makaria after her.

The baffled slytherin at first didn't know how to react. Most people shivered as soon as they saw Makaria or at least after she told them her name, but this Hufflepuff? The slytherin shook her head before realizing she had just let this Hufflepuff drag her somewhere while holding her sleeve.

"HEY! I CAN WALK ON MY OWN!"
