Altaira is a woman who wears a blindfold despite being able to see perfectly fine. Her excuse is that "I need some challenge." She's a very cocky and easygoing woman. She drifts around as she pleases, looking for something or other. She plans on amassing quite the sword collection, with her prize sword being the Supreme Grade Yuyukaze, A sword with a blade 6 feet long that looks normal next to Whitebeard.

Vanish-Vanish Fruit (Doro Doro no Mi) - This fruit effectively lets Altaita teleport to a spot she's marked by placing a symbol on it. She can change orientation and keep her momentum when teleporting, though the range isn't infinite. She can also mark something like a rock and send it to a marked location. When in contact with Seastone or the ocean, this fruit ceases to work on herself, but she can actually teleport marked objects so long as the object isn't touching the ocean or Seastone, and of course, eating the Vanish-Vanish Fruit means she can no long swim.
