EMPEROR (Blue Lock x Reader)

Chapter 4

For the last three days, every team in building five was assigned to complete a physical test. Y/n and Ruggie ran on the treadmill, eventually spreading and racing one another.  "You can give up, Y/n-san," Ruggie panted still not letting up, "I ran for decades back home." Y/n increased her speed and stuck a tongue out at Ruggie. "Not a chance," Y/n panted.

Back at home, Y/n and Satsuki would compete with one another regarding sports, strength, or skill. Satsuki always won in strength but Ren and Iori always assured her it was because the male human body was supposed to gain strength faster. Reo would complain that Satsuki would turn his cute sister into a hulky brute, so Y/n would make time to hang out with him more. They'd have makeovers, spa visits, and sometimes just plain old karaoke. Thinking about her brothers would make her mind waver for a second but remember that they fully supported her.

Finally calling a truce, Y/n and Ruggie both stepped off the treadmill gasping for air. Reo gave them some water that they chugged down in seconds. Y/n chuckled slightly and ruffled Ruggie's sweaty hair. "You can sure run, Ruggie," Y/n grinned. Ruggie didn't react as much since he was still panting for air. Nagi sat down on the floor next to the treadmills watching them run after he completed his jumping test. "You guys can run," Nagi commented, "Are you sure you're both human and not cars?" Y/n laughed at him while Reo scolded him for his bad manners.

DING DONG. DING DONG. 

The schedule in Blue Lock is programmed down to the minute. Despite being raised in a rowdy environment, Y/n adapted to Blue Lock well under the circumstances. Ruggie stuck to her like glue and made it his mission to do whatever she asked. When Y/n scanned her rank for her food, Ruggie already put down his tray at their table to take her own. Sometimes, Y/n didn't ask. For the last three days, Y/n denied his attempts and requests to be her "errand boy", but she gave up and allowed him to carry on how he wished. There wasn't a way to stop him.

Besides rice and miso soup, their side dishes change depending on their ranking. Y/n's side dish was a medium bowl of beef stew just as big as her bowl of rice. Y/n didn't care what her dish was as long as it wasn't plain vegetables. Sitting down in her seat, Ruggie put her tray down in front of her. Later, Reo and Nagi joined them at the table with their trays of food. Ruggie looked at his side dish and compared it to the rest of the table. Ruggie didn't mind his food as long as it wasn't rotten then he'll eat it. Besides, his side dish would be better than the teams below them anyway. 

Seeing Ruggie glance at her stew, Y/n stuck a piece of meat on one end and held it to Ruggie's face. Nagi watched them blankly. Reo looked at Y/n astounded: It was a well-known fact that Y/n treasured and loved meat. Ruggie blushed knowing he was caught looking at her food and turned his head away from the fork. "If you're going to be my lackey," Y/n mumbled shoving the meat more towards Ruggie, "The least I could do is feed you." Hesitantly, Ruggie ate the meat and quickly ate his food to distract himself from the way the meat tasted: It was delicious. Reo laughed at Ruggie's embarrassment causing him to sink more into his seat.

Y/n smiled and ate her food in peace. She mixed her rice with the meat and drank her soup first. "NAGI, WHAT ARE YOU DOING!?" Reo shouted. Y/n looked to her side and saw Nagi by her side on the floor with his head on her lap. "If I become your footman, will you feed me too?" Nagi asked looking up at her. Y/n flushed a million shades of red and looked the other way-- away from Nagi. Reo was quick to rush around the table to get Nagi away from Y/n while apologizing repeatedly. Ruggie laughed at the two while leaning against the table. "Shihihihi, Y/n-san," Ruggie laughed, "You really are the emperor!" Y/n sighed knowing that Nagi wasn't going to leave until she did something. Reluctantly, she fed Nagi some of her meat making him hum in delight. "Now go back to your seat," Y/n commanded and Nagi did so with no hesitation.
