NIHAD'S P.O.V

"Who prefer to be a librarian because they are so in love with novels?"

It's crazy right!

It's pass five thirty pm and as usual i'm done with another humdrum day of sitting at a place for seven hours without doing nothing.

Yeah I mean it. My life is a "little" bit boring. I always vent out my frustrations on my poor job.

It was my decision to work as a librarian, it's not like I was forced though I kinda like the job.

It's so engrossing as I get to read a lot of books... believe me when I say a lot....I kinda have an addition to novels.

My parents sent me to the imam in our locality to pray for me as the novels was getting a better out of me.

And counting from how it ended,I think I better not talk about it for now.

"Done"...The end. This is the end of the story. Oops! Did i scare you?Just kidding.

Hi there!

My name is Nihad bint Saleh. I turned twenty two last month. I live in Abu Dhabi with my family. I'm the youngest daughter of my father and also the youngest child of the family.

"Guess what". I'm the queen of the family...Oh my sister Shazia thinks she is but no need to argue after all a queen doesn't have to argue with others in other to prove herself. Hahaha...my family is not that rich but we are happy with the little we have.

One do not need riches to be happy, money makes life easy and comfortable but it takes love and affection for one to be happy.

"Oh that one kind of philosophy from me".

I kinda have two personalities,one time I'm calm the next I'm not...this happens mostly at school. Well I'll save that for another day...it just that I get sick whenever I talk about these things.

Now where were we? Oh I remember...I was saying something about my addiction to novels and talking about that I think I have some research to do about my favorite writer.

Miss Hafsa gave her class an assignment involving Fatima mustapha, the all time famous writer. They are to write a brief essay about her background. She requested me to do some research on her behalf and also,make some notes on it and submit it to her early in the morning. That's one lazy teacher!

She wants to go through before classes begins. Oh this is also one of my problems,I don't know how to reject people. Whatever it is, it's always a yes from me...my mother hates this side of me but what can I do? It's just part of my whole being.

I will do it but before that I have to do some research about a book I read last week. It's one of Fatima's best novels.

"Fatima mustapha". Her books are so sweet just like her name. Where's my laptop?

Woah! I can't find it...wait a minute, when was the last time I used it? Mmm aside from the library,I hardly go out. Oh I remember,I left it on my desk.

"How could I forget something as important as that". Nihad, you never do anything right!

Hmm I guess I have to use my phone then.

And where is that phone of mine? Mmm oh there is it...Hmm thanks to Allah SWT I've found it. It was lying under the bed. How did it get there? That's strange!

"Over the horizon, the end of eternity".

(Over the horizon, the end of eternity is a  non fiction written by the incredible Fatima mustapha, the all time writer..

The story is about the reality of life:how humans tend to be so much engrossed in the riches of the world forgetting about the hereafter.

It was  launched in kadama city in the 1940 and won the best non fiction novel at the Ahmed books award in 1942.)

Wow what a great story it is... I'm glad I read that book, I've realized a lot of fault with the way I live and I've decided to give eighty percent of my time to worship my Lord (Allah SWT) and the rest of the twenty percent chasing my dreams in the Dunia.

Fatima is an inspiration to all muslim women. She has proven that muslim women can be anything they want. They can choose to be whoever they want to be only if it's not against the will of the almighty Allah SWT.

Now let me search about her early background.

"Nihad".

Oh my that's Shazia calling... what have I done now? Let me type the name in the search box before I leave.

By the time I return it might have finished downloading. "Nihad".

Ya Assalam that almost got my liver out. Ah let's see what she wants this time.

SHAZIA'S P.O.V

Arrrg that sister of mine,she could have just asked for it instead of messing with my things.

I am going to teach her a lesson. Nihad,how dare you barge into my room without my permission?

"Assalamualaikum".

Ah there she is. Come in and oh, close the door behind. I ordered her as she did exactly as she was told.

Now tell me,I began as I folded my arms across my chest. "Why did you come to my room without my permission?"

ZAYN'S P.O.V

Today was uncomfortable: how could mom do this to me? She sent me on a blind date without my authorization. I don't know why she keeps trying harder.

I thought I made it clear to her when I stated the fact that I will marry the woman of my choice. She's so determined to get me a wife.

This is totally insane!

We've met after five years and all she could do is to confess her feelings for me! "Unbelievable ".

She's mom's choice for me even so I can't give her what she's asking of me. That's a huge favor and speaking of mom I'm going to have a serious conversation with her. I'm not happy with the way she's controlling my life,it makes me uncomfortable.

I will have a word with her immediately after I'm done taking my bath. There a couple of things I want to explain to her.

I don't know how it might sound to her but she has to understand that I'm a grown up now and I can take care of myself.

I don't need her going around taking decision for me. She's my mom alright even so it doesn't give her the right to control my life in such manner.

"This is so uncomfortable".
