Telling The Team...

A/N: Okay so this was living rent free in my head, so please enjoy this random piece of fanfiction that I made up and wrote all in 3 hours 😢

Noya and Yachi had been dating for about 2 weeks, they loved every minute of it. But they were keeping it a secret, because they didn't know how the others would react.

Noya still acted like he was head over heels for Kiyoko with Tanaka, Yachi felt a little jealous, she will admit. But she was still afraid of what the team would think. So she stayed quiet.

Noya knew about the jealousy, I mean who wouldn't? Your boyfriend simping for another girl, but he knew Yachi was still reluctant to tell people, so he agreed. Even though he lost feelings for Kiyoko ever since she walked into the gym.

After that he needed to figure out his feelings for her, he had come to the conclusion that he did in fact like Yachi, and asked her out on a date.

That was two weeks ago, now he can tell that these feelings are growing for her. Noya has always been a ball of energy when it came to people he liked and volleyball of course. But he wanted to treat Yachi like a goddess and worship her like he and Tanaka did before her.

He knows it would embarrass her, and make her blush. But he finds it cute! And as a plus, she's shorter than him! He would love to walk her to school and home! He would love to walk up to her and give her a kiss, or hold hands!

But she isn't ready for people to know yet. So he only does that when it's the two of them.

Another week had passed and Yachi was getting comfortable with Noya, started calling him cute pet names, holding hands a bit more, and kissing him on the cheek every so often when it was just the two of them.

Noya was glad, because she had brought up telling the team about them. Noya was all over the idea! He was so happy! She smiled at him and held his hand while talking!

She told him she wanted to subtly introduce it to them, by that she meant Noya stop simping for Kiyoko. And Noya was okay with it! Hell! He was glad that he didn't have to pretend to like a girl that didn't interest him anymore.

He knew Kiyoko was a lesbian, and it didn't bother him. I mean he found out because he accidentally heard it, but didn't tell anyone because that was her thing to tell people, not his.

So when the rumor that Kiyoko was going to ask Yachi out came up, he wanted to do everything to prevent that. So he was a little happy that Yachi wanted to tell people soon.

After a couple of days of less and less simping, and more talking with him and Yachi, they both felt confident in telling the team. So he told Yachi about the rumor, and that he hoped it would just be a rumor.

She understood and reassured him that even if she asked her out that she wouldn't do that! She loved him..

He nearly cried when she said it, she gasped and apologized, "I- Im sorry! That was so sudden! A-and I don't know if you were ready for that, or if you love m-" He kissed her.

She stopped and kissed back, "Bunny, I love you too." He smiled at her, lovingly.

She smiled back at him and then her face widened, "I forgot to tell you something.."
