With a swift, powerful leap, he emerged to confront the demon, attacking the little girl.
Yet, as Elian lunged to her rescue, a mystic force enveloped Sapphire.
The pendant around her neck radiated with an extraordinary glow, and in an instant, she vanished into thin air.
Elian was left suspended in the aftermath, could only grasp at the fading echoes of her presence.
