The dark blue sky of the silver night was being dragged down to the depths of the sea while a gleaming light was embracing the stiff mountains on the hill. Raindrops of the old night were shining brightly on the palm of the warm morning sun when her face was playing with the cold water of a bright morning.
The private school which she goes to has given her a long holiday to enjoy the merry month of the silver snow in her home with her lovely family. However, neither her house nor she enjoyed the presence of the family as they were trapped inside the world of work. Her father is a director of a company and her mother is a teacher at a government school while he brother is a 12th-grade student at a government school.
Even though the school had given her ample time to chase her expectations and dreams during the holiday, the dreams she held close were meager. Moreover, her family did not grant her permission to stay alone at home therefore she had to visit her father's office every day except weekends.
"Emily, the tea is ready" Her mother shouted far away from the living room.
"Yeah, coming!" responded her shortly while dressing in the same attire that she wears whenever she goes to her father's office. The black color oversized T-shirt with white color cargo pants was her monotonous theme.
Though she seemed like a boy, she was just a normal 'girl'. It was the world's habit to assume one's personality from the outside without even peeking into the inside of their heart. Therefore, the world assumed that she was either a girl who attempts to be a boy or a 'lesbian'. She did not criticize the criticism as it was their 'habit' to assume 'things' and she did not loathe LGBTQ+. She always thought that humans shake hands with different events to escape from the reality of their monotonous lives or to change the way they think about themselves. 'Humans lack a thrill, adventure or a change in their lives to waste the time" that's how she thought.
Even though the world saw her in a different way from how she thought about herself, she always knew that she had always been the 'little princess' in her family.
The hotness of the tea was quarreling with her tongue when she took the second sip from the boiling tea. After enjoying a quick hot tea with a bite of cold bread, she stepped into her father's car hoping that she would get a chance to listen to some melodious music through her long journey.
Sometimes you're sad, and you tell me it's nothing
And I brush it off because there's always something
But I need to change my perspective
And prioritize-ize'Cause one thing I know, it's this
Every moment missed
Can be restored with your lips
It only takes one kissAnd I wanna love tonight
One on one by the candlelight
Over and over, we spend our lives
Living fast forward, but not tonight
Love in slow motionLove in slow motion – Ed Sheeran
Though she loves the company of 'cool people' and enjoys their presence, she also prefers to be with herself and enjoy the moment. She loved herself however sometimes she hated herself. She didn't love herself as she was afraid that something worse would happen to her and everything she had done would go to the hands of evil. Therefore she hated and loved herself at the same time. Whenever she listens to this song, she feels relaxed, and all the troubles she has are slowly fading away to a distant world no one can reach.
I've been thinking for hours
Maybe my head's in the clouds
But I could steal you some flowers
And ask if I could take you out
Oh, I can't afford it
But I can write a song and record it
Give it to you and wait and hope thatMaybe you could call me?
Call me, won't you?
Tell me that you want me
And maybe I could play for you
Play for you tonightSing it with me – JP Cooper
This song reminded her of the good old times when everything was peaceful. Times when she was truly happy about herself and her surroundings. The good times she had during her childhood and the simple times when nothing was complex. She felt alive and sad at the same time whenever she listened to this song.
Head first, collidin'
Dreamers collidin'
Universe collidin'
Your love let the light in
Head first, collidin'
Dreamers collidin'
Universe collidin'We made love in the sky
Overslept and missed the northern lights
You lost your wedding ring, but I didn't mind
'Cause I got a feeling, baby, we'll be fineCollide - Ed sheeran
'Every moment felt enjoyable and worth living in' that was her thought about this song. She did not have a person to share the sparkle in her eyes or the hatred in her heart however she felt sadness, hatred, coldness, happiness, warmth, and tenderness of one's fading and colliding love.
She stepped outside of the car while hovering with these emotions and humming the beautiful songs in her mind after the long journey she had gone through mentally and physically.
The first part of the story is quite different from what I usually write but I just had to add it because it helps people to wander their minds in different ways and think analytically. I did not want to hurt any parties. I just want people to be happy with whatever they are doing as the time we have for all of us is very limited. Either way, I hope you enjoyed the story, and stay tuned for more. 🧡🤞💖🙌🙂
