Rekindled Bonds

Chapter 13

(A/N: Plot? What plot? Plot has no place in this chapter. And hate to break it to you, but this whole chapter is just the foreplay- and it's a long one. I may not post again until the second week of January as Christmas is around the corner followed by my birthday on January 2nd. Also please note that sexual acts, especially ones involving multiple partners, are something that requires heavy discussion and a clear consensus. For the sake of the story, we can assume these boundaries were discussed "off-screen". Happy holidays and happier smutting!)

Unfortunately (or fortunately, however you want to look at it) it started raining on their trek back to Hogwarts. The sudden downpour resulted in Ominis's carefully styled quiff becoming a tousled mess of wet hair sticking to his forehead. Water dripped off the tips of hair that tickled his eyes and ears and slowly rolled down his cheekbones before falling from his jaw onto the wooden floor of Ash's living room. Ever sensitive to tactile sensations, he had shed his jacket and rolled up his sleeves on the journey home. The typically proper man loosened his tie and undid the top button of his shirt, complaining about the wet and clingy fabric feeling suffocating. Blush crept up Ash's neck as she carefully watched droplets of water streak down his exposed sternum.

Her attention shifted to Sebastian whose eyes shone brightly as the light from the roaring fireplace danced in his eyes. He ran his fingers through his hair, slicking the drenched tresses back and away from his face. The white shirt beneath his vest was nearly translucent from the rain and Ash could all but count the freckles that adorned his arms and shoulders. The boy caught her gaze and the corner of his mouth turned up into a small smirk. The heat of embarrassment from getting caught ogling raced up Ash's body and situated in her cheeks. She quickly diverted her gaze to the fire in front of them and cleared her throat in an attempt to seem nonchalant.

"You should get out of those clothes." As the words nervously tumbled out of Ash's mouth, she felt her ears burn with the sudden realization of their implications. She peeked at Sebastian, who raised an eyebrow at her. "I-I mean because your clothes are wet! You must be cold and you're our guest-"

"If you wanted to get me naked, you could have just asked," Sebastian replied cheekily. Ash could barely hear him over the sound of her heart beating in her ears.

"I'll just um... go start the bath for you."

And with that, Ash quickly made her way to the bathroom, where the sound of running water soon filled the air. Kneeling by the filled tub, she dipped her fingertips into the steaming water, ensuring its warmth. Satisfied, she settled back, only to find the back of her head bumping into something firm. She tilted her chin upward to see Sebastian standing over her.

"It's been a while since I last saw you on your knees," he teased.

He didn't wait for her retort before starting to undress. He tossed his wet shirt to the floor with casual disregard and Ash basked in the glory of his bare torso. Ash begged her remaining brain cells to work and eventually, she scrambled to her feet and swiftly left the bathroom, leaving Sebastian to enjoy his bath in peace.

She pressed the backs of her cool hands against her burning cheeks as she rejoined Ominis by the fireplace. He had settled comfortably on the sofa with a glass of Firewhisky when Ash plopped down beside him. She glanced down at his hand and watched as his fingertip slowly traced the rim of his glass. She was captivated by the play of light as it danced off the prominent veins in his hand as it idly circled the drink. Merlin how she wanted that finger to be circling something else.

Ominis must have noticed Ash stiffen beside him as he snapped out of his absent-minded daydream and grabbed the bottle of Firewhisky. He held the bottle in her direction.
