While Riley and Lucas were in the ultrasound waiting for the doctor to come in Riley said that she was afraid of what could be wrong with her. Lucas told her that there wasn't anything to be afraid of. Riley felt so much better. The doctor came in and asked Riley to pull her shirt up so she could put some jell on her stomach to see what was going on. When Riley and Lucas looked at the screen they were so surprised by what they saw.
Riley is that what I think it is? Asked Lucas
Yes it is Lucas! Riley said excited.
WOW! We're having a baby Riley. Lucas said.
Wait a minute. Said the doctor
Why whats wrong doctor? Asked Lucas
Its not one baby its two. The doctor said
WOW! Were having twins. Lucas said
I know Lucas I can't believe it I'm pregnant with twins Riley said shocked
The doctor asked them if they wanted to know the gender of the babies.
Lucas asked Riley if she wanted to know and she said yes do u wanna know Lucas. Lucas also said yes. The doctor told them that they're having a girl and a boy. Riley bursted into tears she always wanted a daughter and a son and so did Lucas cause he started to burst into tears too. The doctor told them that she was almost 4 months along.
After Riley and Lucas left the doctors office with their big news they couldn't wait to get home to tell everybody their big news.
While walking home Lucas asked Riley if she wanted to stop and get something to eat cause they hadn't ate nothing yet. Yes sounds good Lucas I'm really hungry Riley said . They were so hungry they couldn't wait any longer to eat so they stopped at IHOP before heading home. When they walked in a waiter showed them to their seats and gave them a menu.
Are you two ready to order now? Asked the waiter
Yes we are. Lucas said
Riley what do you want to eat? Asked Lucas
I'll take a pancake with 2 peaices of bacon. Riley said
What do you want to drink Riley? Lucas asked
I'll take some milk plz? Asked Riley
Okay and what would you like to eat sir? Asked the waiter
Ill take a pancake with an egg and 2 peices of bacon with orange juice plz. Lucas said
Thank you well have your food out shortly said the waiter.
After they got done eating they went straight home to tell everybody the news they had gotten earlier that morning.
