Miles POV:
It was a normal day in HQ. Miguel called us in for a meeting. It started off as a smooth sailing but damn he always starts yelling near the end. But in the middle of the meeting I felt my binder snap. I started to worry. Hobie had noticed. "Darlin' what happened?" Hobie whispered to me.
"It snapped." I whispered back.
"Wha' snapped?" He asked. Until he realized. "Ohhhh." He started to chuckle.
"It's not funny!" I whispered. "Miguel." I said.
"What is it Miles." He gritted through his teeth.
"Can I go the restroom?" I asked.
"No, you can wait." He said.
"Actually, I can't wait." I said back.
"You ARE going to wait." He demanded. I rolled my eyes and sat back down. A few minutes later the meeting was done. I got up and ran to the bathroom. As soon as I got in the stall I slammed the door and locked it. I started to cry. "Shit.." I cried out. I slammed my back against the wall and slid down still crying. 'It's not the big of a deal why are you crying' my thoughts then said. I heard the bathroom door swing open.
"Miles, love?" Hobie called out.
"In here." I said while sniffling. I unlocked the lock on the door.
No One's POV:
The taller male walked into the stall seeing a crying Miles. "Darlin', wha's wrong?" Hobie asked.
" I don't even know why I'm crying." Miles responded. Hobie helped me up.
"It can be hard when someone else doesn't really understand what's happening." Hobie said. I did a small nod.
"But I don't know what to do cause I can't fix it." Miles said. Hobie took off his jacket and put it on Miles. He put in '1610' and they walked through the portal. They ended up in Miles room. He didn't know if he had an extra one or not. He found one with a note from his mom. 'Thought you might need a new one, love mom' ? He smiled to himself and went to the restroom to change. Hobie was fiddling with his watch so he didn't see Miles jump on the bed making him jump. "Did you really get scared??" Miles asked while laughing.
"No, I jus' didn' see you." Hobie said.
"Sounds like the same thing to me." Miles said while lying down on Hobie.
