Prologue: April 26th 7:00P.M.
The three of us jogged through the maze side by side the circles of light emitted by our flashlights bobbed along the wall of solid green erratically. Suddenly Ember stopped and began to listen "Eve, Saphera stop!" we slowed to a stop "do you guys hear that?'" she questioned in a high pitched voice. Saphera and I paused and looked behind us attempting to pick up whatever she had heard. A low growling noise began to close around us "Run!!" I screamed but I knew it was already too late.
