She laid there in bed, staring at the ceiling, listening to water droplets hitting the nearby pavement, the buzzing of the running air conditioner and the slow breathing of the girl laying on the other bed. She was wearing the latter's pyjamas, it fit terrifyingly well. Her phone rested in her hand as she either hoped to fall asleep or to get a text from one of her friends.

She turned her head to the side, facing the sleeping girl. Her back was turned to her, but she was able to tell she was relaxed, very relaxed. She groaned and looked back up at the ceiling, counting sheep to make her dose off.

But that also ended in vain, the more sheep she counted, the more awake she felt. She glanced at the direction of the clock, the short hand inching closer to two. She sighed and once more turned towards the sleeping girl. She looked at her back for a while.

"Hey, are you awake?" She heard a drowsy voice ask. She blinked a few times, thinking it was her mind playing tricks on her. "Huh?"

"I asked whether you were awake, i guess you are." The voice replied, in a calm and relaxed manner. She kept on looking at the other girl before speaking up, "Yeah, I am. I couldn't sleep."

"Oh, that's sad. Well, I just woke up." She sat up and turned to look at her, her hair was disheveled but her cute dimpled smile remained. She stood up and crawled into the other bed beside her. She felt goosebumps on herself as she heated up, feeling the older one lay beside her.

"I usually have someone else with me, it's weird without someone." She explained, in soft voice.

"Oh, oh, it's okay." She replied. In her flustered state, she didn't know a proper response to the explanation, instead her brain functioned on autopilot and said whatever came first to it. Her heart pounding as it ran a thousand miles, Cupids lousy aim shot a lucky arrow through her heart.

Green nervousness washed over her, suffocating  her when she felt the lasses hands wrap around her waist, nuzzling herself into the crook of her neck. The hairs at the back of her neck stood in attention as she felt the latter's hot breath.

"Wonyoung, could I a question?" She murmured in a quiet whisper.  She nodded her head as her cheeks flushed red, the darkness of the room hugged her, covering her blush from being broadcasted to her.

"Well, I was wondering if you had a boyfriend or someone like that, do you?" She asked in an almost inaudible whisper.

She pondered on why the latter wanted to know so, eventually giving in an answering, "No, i don't. I don't have one." Her voice came out shaky, uncertain and filled with heavy doubt. She mentally scolded herself for sounding like a bumbling moron.

"Oh, that's good." She whispered as she snuggled closer towards her, she could feel the latter's lips brushing against her neck, sending somber shivers down her spin.

"Well, then, goodnight"

"Goodnight"
